Prince is a great communicator with high intellect... STUDY for the exams cause thats where all the points come from. You have to ATTEND class and you have to take detailed NOTES. All the movies you can watch online with megavideo and netflix.... A friend of mine recorded the lectures on his macbook and said this helped a lot.

this class is really interesting and fun if you truly love film, I even found the textbook to be an enjoyable read. however, this isn't an easy A class - there is a lot of information to know for tests and they are not easy. but prince really knows his stuff and the class is really cool!

Dr. Prince is an ok guy, and his lectures arent all that bad. He knows his stuff. However, his tests are very hard. If you do poorly on one exam, your final grade will suffer greatly. Extra Credit was only worth 1 average point--pointless. Study hard! It takes a lot of work just to get a B.

This was an interesting class, but a lot harder than I expected. the book, so you should probably be reading it. The most critical thing is the discussion after watching the movie, never miss those. Don't blow this off even if it is just a Core requirement for you, its takes a considerable amount of effort just to get a B.

NOT AN EASY A CLASS! Class can sometimes be boring. Test are very detailed, to a point that you have to study a lot to be able to get a B. Not very helpfu; extra credit and does not give a good curve if one at all.

Dr. Prince is very nice, and his class is so interesting! I would suggest taking this class even if you aren't a huge fan of movies like I am. The subject material is really fascinating and it's great for even the most casual moviewatcher. I'm really glad I took this class.

Prince sucks. He teaches the stuff about movies that no one cares about. He also has the nerve to make all of his test questions about obscure facts that are unimportant to the true subject matter. Prince comes off as arrogant and does very little to help his students.
