This professor will explain the theory for something, but glaze over the actual math, then expect you to do homework on it, which he has repeatedly assigned Friday night and expects Monday morning, with no warning.

Dr. Adams is very tough with grading but he will make sure you understand what is being asked. He will help you during office hours and he gives great explanations. Best professor I have had at Widener.

Although he's crazy about significant figures, Adams is a great professor if you're really committed. If you go to his office hours he's extremely helpful and he's always there for you. His exams aren't really hard and he always gives you an outline of exactly how he's going to grade everything. Would definitely take him again.

Adams is most likely the best physics teacher at widener. He is very helpful and his tests aren't too bad. A lot of homework but its for your own good. Strange guy but is very nice. Try to get him!

This was def a lot harder than phys 1. He does not curve as much and the material is a lot different. the material is a lot of theoretical stuff and circuit analysis, but i was still able to do fine. Just do not expect it to b like phys 1. adams is still odd and stares a lot, but he is still pretty good, go to office hrs if u need help.

Adams was great in this class!! If u could do the hmwk, u were set for the tests. He also curves the test a crazy lot! He is a bit weird sometimes, but still really good. And pay attention in recitation, stuff from there goes on tests. PAY ATTENTION TO SYLLABUS, he'll take off a lot if u dont follow hmwk format.

Dr. Adam's was an amazing teacher to have! I had him for Physics 1, 2 and Circuits 1. He gives a load of homework but he always had time to clear up a subject for me during his office hour. He also has some awesome demonstrations. Have fun in the class because you will learn a lot and miss him when you no longer have him.

I had Dr. Adams for Modern Physics and Quantum when I was an undergraduate in mid 90s. I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Adams' classes. Now, I have a PhD in physics and I am a physics professor myself. His courses really enhanced my interest in physics. Thank you, Dr. Adams!

Work really hard on homework, among studying consistantly, had real life issues which he did not care about at all and effort put in did not reflect grade. Beware when it comes to homework, he will often reply to questions the day after or the day of homework being due. Adams, also likes to rather pile the homework, some times rather unmanageable.

He gives printouts before every test telling you exactly what to study. Find whats on those sheets and know it, and you'll get an A on the test. Tests mostly on concepts and doesn't care as much about computations. Most difficult part of class is the homework which doesnt count for much. Very helpful with averaging your grade so you do well at end
