Man oh man this guy should just be a voice on a cartoon. Tough grader. Sometimes I find myself wondering why the hell he relates certain things to english. Very unclear about assignments. Papers are waaaay to long 8 page for the short one. definatly wouldnt recommend it. not a good teacher for such a good subject. writing is suppose to be fun. NOPE

Steve Anderson is a great teacher. He gave all of us a lot of time and feedback on all papers. I always felt I knew what he expected out of his students. I really enjoyed the class. He is one of my favorite teachers I have had.

Steve is awesome. I came to class thinking a freshman writing class would be awful. I never really liked english classes in the past, but he made it very interesting. Recommend him to all! Great guy!

I liked Steve, he's a good guy. Lots and lots of writing (I suppose since it is a comp class), but excessive amounts of writing compared to other classes I've heard. He made class interesting and was a good teacher.

Final grading changed at the last minute and cutoffs got pushed a bit. Buddy of mine went from A to B on the last day. Overall he was very enthusiastic about what he taught which made the Saturday class enjoyable at least.

he is SO funny, it's kept me awake for my 8am class. i though he was a very reasonable grader, i got an A, but i worked really hard. there is a lot of assignments, plus 20 mini papers on top of that. sometimes i think he is more of a sociology teacher, but that gives lots of fun stuff to write about, and topics on big papers are open to. RECOMENDED

horrible!! dont take him! im an A student and he was gonna fail me i had to drop out as did over half of my class! he will give you an F on a paper but not comment on it to tell you what you did wrong/what he didnt like about it so u cant make it better! i loved to write until i took this class!!

i liked him, but the studdering...or what ever it is that he does - really bothered me, especially at 8am every morning. =/ i liked him though, he was very passionate, and i liked the McDonaldization of Society..good book, good concepts. overall..pretty good...but he drove me mad with all the suddering.

The other comments aren't that fair. True, he wasn't the best teacher I've ever had but he wasn't the worst. The class discussions were interesting; he came up with some interesting topics. This guy really sucks. He would waste your tuition money. The class is very very easy. Eveyone gets an A. You don't learn anything. He would let you leave 30 minutes after class started. He has discussions about****, sex, chicks. He didn't give back a paper from February (it's now May). Avoid him!

He is not HOT reguardless of the chili pepper. He probably rated himself. His assignments are very unclear and when you think you have did everything he asked you find out you are still wrong. He isn't the worst teacher and certainly not the best!
