just read the other comments. took him online and he does these role calls where you have to talk on a form about whatever topic we are covering, the problem is he does about 5 a week. And if you miss them, you get a grade deduction. I don't know about anyone else but I see my physical classes 1-2 times a week. 2 roll calls is plenty for a grade.

Very organized, and very helpful. Prof. Andrews clearly communicates what you need to do each week, and he makes it easy to work a week ahead so you're not struggling against deadlines. He fosters active discussions between students, and I have to say this has been one of the best online courses I've taken. Be prepared to participate.

One of Valencia's best. Great teacher, challenging and interesting assignments, ample opportunities for extra credit, and very interesting discussions in his "roll call". Highly recommend if you really want to learn!

Took this class as an elective. When you receive the syllabus he gives you every reason not to take this class, only problem is, its too late to drop without financial penalty. If you are a computer geek, this the class for you. This class should not be taken online, and this instructor is horrible.

Took online. Class isnt an "easy A" but easily doable. Does require doing the work, and some teaching yourself. Professor was always very accessible. He does round down, but gives plenty of extra-credit opportunity. He knows his stuff and is very professional. Learned a lot in this class. I am taking another class with him next semester.

As a beginner I should've attended this course on campus, for assistance. I passed with an A! It wasn't peaches. Here's my gameplan: just let the tutorials in the text guide you. It doesn't have to be perfect. Be able to read, comprehend details, and follow directions. Learn your pc desktop, files,etc. He will meet with you and allows late work. A!

He rounds down for your grades!!! Took him for XML. Do not take him if you value your time or GPA. A lot of work. You must complete tutorials on your own and then he assigns the reviews afterwards. Little chance for explanation if you don't understand something. I would NOT take him again

If you value your GPA DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!! I had a 3.67 before this guy. If you don't mind making sure everything is 100% and you have enough time to spend 25 hours a week just focusing on his class its for you, but if you are like everyone else on the planet and trying to graduate DON'T take anything he offers.

Excellent! Makes hard material easy to learn. I didn't know a thing about web publishing and I learned so much in his class! Very helpful and easy to reach. I was nervous with an online course, but it turned out to be my favorite class. I highly recommend him.

Professor Andrews is an excellent teacher! He is extemely helpful and understanding. He goes out of his way to ensure everyone comprehends the material. Very knowledgeable, very accessable (email, phone, WebCT), and he really cares about his students. I highly recommend him, you will learn the material and enjoy the class.
