Dr. Banks is amazing. I don't know why he has such a bad reputation. He has been nothing but polite during the entire course, was very prompt in responding emails and very clear with his instructions. I would highly recommend him.

Way too hard of a class! First off, he wrote the textbook so he expects you to know EVERY LITTLE DETAIL! Also, the only time you go to class is to take a test. You're on your own. On the first day of class he told everyone that if you don't get a C on the first exam then you better drop the class. So I had to. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!!!

His course was online with his own-publised textbook, so he knows well what he is teaching. Also he answers my questions so quickly until I understand, so it is matter of the students who choose to ask questions or not. As far as grading, he practices what he teaches, (no extra point work allowed, due keeping, and clear cut grading).

He needs to be more personable. Very matter of fact, but comes off as rude. He will not go above and beyond for students. Study the notes he posts online and the tests are easy enough. Don't procrastinate on the research paper. Have to mail it, can't even drop it off in his office. Very harsh grading scale, 93 and above is an A.

Not sure what the negativity is about. I had an overall good expirience with Banks' online class. He assigns a research paper, but just do it to his exact specifications and you'll get an A. He's very prompt in answering any question posed, and though he may seem snappy in reply, rest assured that it's just to ensure that he's being concise!

Okay, so I'm not sure why he has such a bad rep. I took his online class and while instructions were vague, I never shyed away from asking him questions. I had responses within twenty-four hours (sometimes within hours), and they were always short and direct. To some he may come across mean, but he is just concise! Read material and you'll be fine.

I took this class online. The tests were not difficult if you read and studied the chapters. The research paper wasn't hard but took a lot of time. After reading these comments, I was nervous at first but found him to be very helpful and kind. He always emailed reminders and quickly responded to any questions or concerns. I got an A in the class.

I had Dr. Banks for Adv Human Development in Grad School. Honestly, I remember the class being fairly easy, but that I didn't learn much. Dr. Banks is one of my professors that I remember neither fondly nor negatively. He was nice enough but nothing that stood out.

This teacher is HORRIBLE,no other word suits him. He refuses to answer questions, and if you ask, be ready for his smart butt comments. He should really change his teaching methods, or better yet, his job. He is not much of a teacher at all. Avoid his classes if you can, unless you want your GPA to suffer. I will never take him again!!

This is the worse teacher I have ever had. This teacher gets aggravated when you ask questions. He does not want to help. He could care less if you pass or fail. His intsructions are unclear. He is smart with his comments. Makes you feel uneasy. Do not take this class if you dont need it. NEVER TAKE THIS TEACHER IF YOU DONT HAVE TO.

I have over 160 hours and this is the worst teacher that I have ever had. He doesn't care what you are doing he does not help you, he takes forever to answer emails. His tests are awlful so do not take unless you want to rune your GPA and possibly fail the class. BEWARE OF THIS CLASS AND TEACHER> DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!!!!!

If you take his class you better think twice because he does not help you with the assignments you just do them. You have 3 tests taht are awlful and one research paper that if they are not approved articles you don't get credit for them. Think twice before you take this class or this professor. BEWARE OF HIM AND HIS TEACHINGS@!!!!!!!
