He's a good guy, but the course has a lot of musicians who are at an amateur level. He tends to pick complicated music and it is almost embarrassing to play at concerts with the group because it sounds worse than a high school orchestra. Would like him to work on technical abilities with the group as a whole.

Great teacher and mentor, Bjella is one of the reasons I became a professonal musician. I could write a book on all the violinist's knowledge that he taught me and I now teach my own students. Anyone who doesn't pick up on what he's teaching isn't a very astute student.

Really knows his stuff and is an OK musician but doesn't seem terribly willing to help students who are having difficulty. All methods class teachers treat the playing exams more like private lessons so we actually learn how to play the instrument-not him
