Great professor. The class never really did a lot except search for things on our laptops on the WCU website. There were only a few assignments but the only due date was the last day of class which was nice. He tells a lot of good stories from his experiences which made class interesting. Great class to have the first semester of my freshman year.

Mr. Carlisle is one of the most helpful and caring connections I have on campus. He is much more than a professor he is a mentor and may poke and prod at you sometimes but if he sits down one on one with you will be as helpful as can be. I higly reccomend seeking his help especially if you are an Honors student.

Mr. Carlisle was by far the easiest teacher I have ever had! He expected us to come to class, but it was never hard when we were there. He told jokes the whole time and made class fun!

Okay, I still don't understand what this class is supposed to be about, but I love Carlisle. He's great and believes in his students 100%. He will find new opportunities for you and help you reach your potential. This man has the attitude that all teachers should be required to have.

Steve Carlisle is one of the best professors I have ever had. He has made a huge difference in my education and my life, and got me into the honors college, when no one else recognized the quality of my writing. He says what he'll do and then he does it. He'll give you every chance in the book, just don't take advantage of him. An all around great guy. If he wasn't my professor, I

Enjoyed the class. Easy grade. Just show up and show him that you really do care about the class, get into it a little bit, and you get a good grade. He doesn't deal with the textbook and just teaches from his past experiences (which are really interesting). Fun class and I learned too. He's hilarious.

Worst professor I have ever had. He seems great all through the semester than at grading time he really screws you over. He accidently gave me a C- that I have been arguing and he keeps forgetting to change. He adds whatever he wants to and is crazy. Everyone in our class did poorly because of his awful grading proceducres. Don't take this awful pr

This was the worst professor in the worst class I have every had. Sure, he's funny, but you don't learn sh*t and his grading standards are a joke. You don't go over the text book and yet he tests on it. Carlise is a joke and so is the class.

No teaching, just speeches. You never actually learn how to give one, but then again, its a University required class with little basis on our educations so who cares if you learn or not? Carlisle is about as good a professor as one could find for such a horrible topic.
