His lectures are so dry. He'll give you help if you ask, but the tests are annoyingly hard sometimes. Also, there were only like, 2 tests then the final. He tries to make it interesting but its just so dry. I only got annoyed with him because there's a LOT of test material on one test. You'll go months without a test. Not a good thing.

Dr. Gilmour is a great professor. He has much knowledge about the subject and is very helpful when you ask for assistance. His lectures can sometimes be monotonous, but are very informative. It is a lecture based class, so be prepared to take detailed notes.

The sweetest old man. He is extremely boring but so nice and helpful when you ask for it. He will do anything he can to help you. His tests are relatively easy if you study for them at least a little bit.

Taken him for many classes, really extremely boring. His topics aren't interesting, which doesn't help him but he is very bland. His class is always my lowest grades, even when I'm taking 400 levels with other professors and a 200 with him.

Dr. Gilmour has the best humor! I don't mind the monotony of his voice at all; if you give him a chance it isn't bad. He goes over all of the material on the test clearly. Everyday there is a review of last class's information. This helps it stay in your mind and allows you to remember it. His tests are straight out of the book. Great professor.

Basically this class was a lecture class. I went to 98% of the classes and failed 1 test and didn't get an A on one test and ended up with a B. Test are a little confusing. You don't need to read the book but useful when getting definitions for the study guide. Take good notes. Extra credit available. Very nice and works with you.

very very difficult for a gen ed class... this class is the reason why gen ed should be eliminated... very hard tests and a lot of confusing vocab... im a deans list student until i took this class

Very difficult for a 101 class. I'm an honor roll student and i am only managed a C- in that class with alot of studying. The questions on the test are not what he goes over in class. Very hard A and B. Overall he is an interesting teacher but this is just a class to get frustrated over.
