i would recommend Steve Good for lab not lecture. Lab's he was helpful, attendance and participation was your grade. Lecture he was a bit confusing. His note, that he print out and is on D2L, is the test. The test is similar to the practice test but he will change a few sections.

You don't have to go to class but you have to study. Study the practice test but don't rely on them. You have to study the power points too. when he says memorize something its on the test, word for word! Nice guy. Do the work and you get the points.

One of the best professors. He is very spicy and energetic. Great class; you will usually be out at 6:15-6:30 each time. Quizzes each week, tests are a bit difficult: but he is a huge help with all the assignments. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK.

Lectures are boring but Dr. Good tries to make it interesting. Attendance isnt mandatory- just make sure you go to class when McPhee assignments are due and obviously on test days. DEFINITELY go to lab!! Make sure you study the back tests and the powerpoints for tests!!

DO NOT BUY THE TEXT OR LAB BOOK! Don't waste your money because you don't use it, just make sure you buy the McPhee Book (You use this!) Class is not mandatory but go to lab and class the days there are McPhee projects. Steve Good is a very sweet guy(he loves rocks) but I feel bad because lectures are so boring, hardly anyone ever went to those.

I feel bad for the guy as his class is extremely boring. How exciting can it be though, if its a class about rocks. He tries his best. He gives you the back tests and use them to ASSIST you in studying, do not rely on them completely. Go to the labs!! They are easy and important for your grade. Have time to study though.

Steve is a great teacher who knows a lot about his field. The class is really long and can be boring, but he explains everything you need to know. You have a lab quiz every week on fossils, but he's a really funny, well informed professor.

Really cool guy. As long as you study his PPs for the tests, do the class projects (they are real easy, just read the essays and follow instructions) and go to lab there is no reason you shouldn't get a good grade. He's funny too. I'd take him for a science class any day.

Dr. Good was so easy. I had geology twice a week and I only ever went once a week and I still got an A in the class. But I attended every lab -- make sure you go to lab! If you study what he reviews for tests, go to lab, and complete all of the assignments, you're guaranteed an A. Very easy professor; probably the easiest for geology!

Professor Good is extremely helpful and easy. Attendance is not mandatory and he sets up the class for you to get an A. He gives you last years test, prior to taking a test to help prepare you. They are very similar. The labs are easy and are 30 % of your grade and so are the projects he gives you. Take this class easy A, good professor.

Dr. Good tries so hard so I have to give him that, but in all honesty this class is extremely easy. You don't have to go to class unless its the day hes going over the practice test answers, actually giving a test, or doing one of three projects that you have over the course of the semester. The labs are simple as he pretty much does all the work

He is a good professor, and you'll find that all the practice tests he gives you are the exact test. Show up for class only when he goes over the practice test and the test days and you'll be perfectly fine. very easy. Try to laugh at him bc his jokes stink but he thinks they're funny..

I never thought Geology could be interesting, but this guy proved me wrong. Go to lab, read the assignments and study the practice exams and you'll be fine. Never used the book OR the lab manual! Don't waste your money!

He is SMART. Not easy so expect to work hard but u can do good if u, yes thats right, apply urself. He makes the study of earth science (rocks,volcanoes,oceans,etc) actually enjoyable. I didnt think that was possible! The only problem that I encountered was keeping up with lectures, he speaks very fast. Other than that, Good! +He remembers names 2!

He is very very nice, and means really well, but talks so fast that he's almost mumbling and its hard to understand him. Definitely read the text before the class or you'll be lost. Labs are intersting and easy. Just wish he'd not rush through everything.
