Brother Hay was an awesome teacher. He really cares about students and allows us to explore the social work field and learn more about it. He really encourages participation and learning between students, which is great. He is very funny and stylish! I've learned so much from this class and would take again in a heartbeat!

I love Brother Hay!! His classes are really easy, all you have to do is listen to the lectures and take okay notes. He reviews the tests verbatim and basically tells you the answer on the test review so just make sure you go to that. I've taken three of his classes and there's a group presentation in each but its not that hard. Love him!

Bro. Hay is a nice guy and knows his stuff. But, his lectures don't usually correspond with what he tests on. To do well on the tests, you HAVE to read the textbook. He has test reviews and goes over them in class, but he doesn't always cover the topic as it relates to the test questions. Again, nice guy with jokes ready, but not the best teacher.

Brother is really sweet and nice, but his lectures tend to drone on. The material is really good, but you don't learn much in class that you couldn't just pick up from the text books. No assignments, all tests and group presentations.

Brother Hay is a good teacher. However, he does not involve us in the class very well, we come in, and then he lectures all class. Super boring lectures too usually. But, if you push through it and pay attention to the lectures, you will learn some good material.

Brother Hay is all over place but actually easy to follow. There aren't many assignments so test are very important. He goes over everything on the test so they are easy if you pay attention. One group project and he is really flexible with due date. TAKE HIM FOR THIS CLASS!!

Brother Hay is a cool guy! I learned a lot. EASY group projects. No homework, a couple take home tests. Tests are easy since he gives you all the answers the day before (so make sure you go to class). I enjoyed this class and did well without having to put forth too much effort. Class is kind of boring, but he tells good stories. Easy A!

Three easy tests and a group project, no homework except reading the textbook but you can still get an A if you just skim the textbook for whats on the test reviews. plus he's hilarious. interesting class, definitely would take from him again

A group had a presentation of the chapter each week. So Mondays a group would present and Wednesdays Bro Hay would lecture. His lectures can be a little boring. But he is a great guy! No homework. Take home test and you're allowed to work with your group if you want to.

Bro. Hay is an alright guy. He's hard to pay attention to in class because he can get pretty boring as a lecturer, that's why I didn't enjoy his classes, they all put me to sleep. He's not the best teacher, but at least his classes are pretty easy.

Recently he went through a hard time and he is a very funny/nice guy but his T.A. had to come in a lot last minute, he always leaves the classroom, and marks down assignments without a real reason why. The class was not very hard and I feel like I understand the field but it was hard to be put effort in a class that you felt the teacher doesn't.

seriously one of the BEST teachers I have had and I will take every possible class from him. He loves his subjects and his students and it radiates. We learn all we need to learn but the environment is super relaxed and entertaining. I am so grateful I got to have Bro Hay!!

He is the funniest teacher...EVER. I always leave his class crying laughing. He's also incredibly helpful with whatever questions you have. I always feel prepared for the test, which are never too difficult. It's pretty simple, read the chapter before class, go to class, and then take the test. There's not that much homework either. Pretty easy!

Bro. Hay is just about the nicest teacher I've ever had. He's very kind, helpful and his class carries a reasonable workload. That being said, Bro. Hay is also the driest, most monotone lecturer I've ever listened to. The material is interesting but his lectures make it seem uninteresting.
