Great instructor and would recommend him. He cares about what he is teaching and it shows in his lectures. Although, attendence is not mandatory if you miss a few classes and aren't a computer person it may be difficult to catch back up.

Inglett is one of my favorite teachers and inspired me to become a CS major. He is one of the most understanding and sweetest people. His tests aren't challenging but go to class because there are some random questions from lecture. Riley's class is 25% of your grade-be sure to attend. Easy A.

I took this class for my business minor. It wasn't a terrible class. It did get boring because it is four days a week. I attended every class, which I recommend because otherwise you'd fall behind and have a hard time catching up. He is fair about being relaxed about turning in assignments, I put in a fair amount of effort and got a B.

Inglett is a great guy. The material is hard but everything is on a curve at the end of the semester. He is a geeky teacher but always has a smile on his face. Lets you turn in your homework and exercises late as long as they are in before the unit exam. Easy if you are there everyday, do the work and study for an hour before each exam.

He is a goof and loves his geekiness. He is really helpful and doesn't make you feel stupid. You definitely have to try hard to get an A because the material is probably brand new to you. I totally recommend him!

Assumes all his students know just as much about computers as him. Assignments are HARD. He's a goofy guy and means well but if you're not into computer programming but looking to take an alternative 'math/lang.' gen ed... id reconsider taking a beginner language.

Course was not what I was expecting. Inglett is a nice guy- likes to share stuff about his family. Assingments are easy and straight-forward and he is really willing to help if you need it. Test are pretty difficult to get down. He doesn't like to give out A's-- you must earn them with hard work.

Very good professor. You HAVE to go to class everyday if you expect an A, but, if you show up and pay attention you can do well. Very hard earned A because I wasn;t that interested in the material, but a good prof.

I struggled in class but was there everyday and paid attention. To be honest, I was lost the whole time in the class. Programming assignments were hard. I really liked the class because of all the other topics he brings in. And I would not recommend to C-S majors to take. Everyone else who just needs to take the course, it is a fun class to ta

The tests and assignments are fairly easy if you actually attend class and listen to the lectures. If you have questions, ask him, he will take the time to clear things up for you. He may go off topic sometimes from the actual lecture, but they are always relative to CS somehow. Don't fall behind in classwork or it will come back to bite you.

He's a good guy, but if your a CS or IS major you should take Riley for 120. If you don't you'll be up a creek without a paddle. You will struggle in 220 if you don't listen.

Great guy. Really helpful. Me and some buddies nicknamed him "Ned" among ourselves, because he looks like a Ned. Here's the deal: in-class assignments can be very challenging, but if you put in your time (and he provides plenty of help) you WILL complete them correctly. Then, study those for the test. You'll be fine. Great guy.

Inglett is an awesome guy! His tests are kind of hard/tricky, but he is very clear and helpful in small lectures and labs. He did not teach large lecture, but that was pretty easy as well. We had an in class assignment almost everyday, but were pretty easy. Also had homework almost everyday, but it was done in class also. Very awesome prof!

An extremely helpful and flexible teacher. First half was hard but things got easier as the semester progressed. Test were tricky and hard! Large lecture test were easy. 90% of the homework had to be done on a computer lab computer because of the programs used are not availabe for home use. Grades with some curve.
