Good luck finding him during office hours... Also, mostly teaches honors so SAT's scores are higher, so class seems easy. A bit all over the place for the isntructions. If you get a C in this class, honestly you failed.

Lehr= awesome for 101. The only people who had problems were those who tried to cut corners and slack off. He isn't clear in his directions, but does so intentionally because that's the whole point of the class: to develop engineering leadership skills. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK (you use it maybe once or twice borrow from a friend). Overall = great pro

from what ive heard he's great for programming and i wouldn't doubt it. his solution to any problem u mite have in this class is to write a c program. his directions r poor and he is never clear about what he wants done. class isn't easy and having him doesn't help at all.

EXCELLENT professor... really didnt like programming and the idea of it at all before i went to class. Ironically now im persuing the CS minor b/c of him. only thing i stress is DO YOUR HOMEWORK .. it helps . GREAT class :)

he's a great super dee duper teacher. he's so enthusiastic about what he does. if you're having trouble ask. do the homework because tests will be easier if you do. he understands that it's not always easy to complete the homework on time so he often will accept late assignments. but don't take advantage of it. you learn tons! great guy!

C proramming sucks. I got a D in last semester with Bueno. I had no idea what was going on in his class. But Lehr makes C programming very very simple for begineers. If you have programmed before, this class will be piece of cake for you. For begineers, he will make the subject the easiest it can be done...

So there r people who love him & hate him. If u plan 2 do nothing with ur free time except study his class or if u know everything about the class & computers then u'll do really good. If u want 2 have a life & dont know a thing about computers he sucks.I have changed my major & withdrawn from the university & a big reason for that was b/c of him.

Really good guy and a good teacher. I personally suck with computers but he took the time to help me out a lot and taught me a lot about Riddle. He's really flexible if you let him know you have a problem or need more time, he's an awesome teacher, probably one of the best I've had here.

Steve Lehr is an asset to this University. All you freshman ****s who hate his class, need to realize he teaches you what you need to know for the future...ie a job. Steve Lehr is awesome. I learned alot from the guy about programming and life at riddle in general. he went to the school he knows how stuff goes. This is why he works with freshmen.

Helpfull professor. Will do what he can to help you pass the class. He is sometimes unclear, and expects you to just know things. The class itself requires work and is inpractical to be teaching programming without any computers in front of you. He talks about the theory behind commands too much.
