Mr. Myers is an excellent teacher. I really enjoyed taking his class, and we spent a few hours after class discussing different subjects. He even helped me with an off-topic subject. He's also a political science teacher, and has a good background with political aspects of history. His quizes were super-easy, and very little homework. He's GREAT!

Probably would have been better in any other term. Had a stroke a couple years back in spring, that makes him kind of check out this term. Knows what he's talking about. Lots of information. You must read the chapters to get a good grade on quizzes/exams. Boring at times, but when he liked the topic, there was lots of discussion :)

Mr. Myers is a good teacher. Easiest 200 level class i have ever taken. Spends a lot of time going over matrial. We didnt hit the 1914 mark, we barely made it to the Civil War. but, if you want to understand history you cant rush it. he does an excellent job putting the student in the time period. he says he is a tough grader, but he is not

This has to be the easiest class I have taken, while still remaining informative. The quizes are a breeze, but the study guides are worthless. However, he is a little vague on what he wants out of papers, etc. Still, Myers is a really great teacher; I highly recommend.

Great teacher, loved the classes. Gets everyone involved, ecourages in class spontaneous debates. Knows his stuff.

He spends too much time on certain eras and rushes through others. His study guides are so vague they aren't very helpful in determining what to study. He does let you prepare for essay questions and doesn't ask for specific dates for battles and wars.
