Comment:

Nichols is one of the best professors I've had at Bentley. Too bad he teaches science and not business, or I'd take him for every class. He's a good guy, always willing to help and he's very understanding if you're having trouble with a missed class or something. Easy to understand his lectures, subject is not tough to begin with. Simple 3.3-3.7

Comment:

Professor Nichols is a really nice guy, but he is a somewhat hard grader. There was not much work outside of the class aside from some homework worksheets once in a while and otherwise the grade was only based off of quizzes, the final, and in class observations. As long as you pay attention in class and study for assessments, a 4.0 is possible.

Prof. Nichols is a really good guy who wants you to do well in his class. He tries to make everything that we do worthwhile and fun. I enjoyed going to class because we actually learned stuff. Quizzes are pretty straightforward if you pay attention and do the practice problems. Would reccomend him to anyone.

Nichols read all of the SETs and has decided he was an easy grader in previous years. He grades harshly on his tests, quizzies, exams, and labs. He is not an easy professor by any means. Also, his teaching style is mediocre at best giving a lot of useless bits of information not useful for his exams which is the basis of your final grade.

Nichols is a nice enough guy, but many of the comments below are surely fakes. Unless you're Einstein then you are very unlikely to get a 4.0; his grading is quite harsh, and your answers must be 100% precise in order to merit full marks. That's no bad thing, of course, but don't be fooled into thinking this is an easy 4.0, it is not.

This guy's very good. TAKE HIM..If you struggled in physics in high school, still take him because he will most likely be a lot easier. Focuses on real world application of physics. Very friendly and easily approachable after class in the classroom. 4.0 in both his classes.

This guys the man. Nice teacher and is helpful. Lots of experiments which make the class fun and he always has stories. Quizzes can be difficult if you don't do the review problems. If you want to take physics you want to take Nichols.

VERY nice person...Every few weeks you have a quiz. You can use a two-page cheat sheet during the quiz, but the quizes still aren't too easy...Every few weeks there is a Lab Report due and it'll take you a few hours to complete...Overall: Great guy, not hard but not easy from a grades point-of-view.
