Exactly what you would expect from a music teacher. The assignments were not clearly defined and he really pushes students to try new things/put a personal twist on each assignment but it just made things confusing. It was a fun-ish class but I didn't really learn anything... but it was an FYS.

His extremely open concept for assignments and class structure has granted me the opportunities to create far beyond a paper or presentation. I have been introduced to experimental and conventional artists that have helped influence and shape my projects for his class and many more beyond what my own creative mind could have ever imagined.

Steve is a great professor. He's very kind, helpful, and is quite interesting to listen to. He gets off track quite a bit during discussions, but not in a bad way. Would recommend him for any honors courses!

Pane is my absolute favorite professor. He can be vague about how he wants some assignments, but I think that leaves a lot of room for growth. He rewards taking risks but he'll always tell you when you've gone too far off topic. He's enthusiastic about the topic and very helpful.

Steve has so much crazy energy and he makes class interesting because of it. Catch him on a caffeen filled day and expect to laugh your brains out. Hes really hard and expects a lot but you get a lot out of it if you put the effort in.
