Great, amusing lab lecturer. He only oversees the lab sections, but his lectures are helpful for the final lab exam, and he makes the subject matter entertaining. The laboratory portion is what you make out of it; in order to do well in the course, do your work and do well on the practicals! Other than that, have fun.

It seemed like he was on autopilot. Didn't care enough to help students in lab - left that to the TAs. Physics lab is much more engaging.

Very very amusing and kind. Cares about the subject and the students. Prepare for lab--understand why you're doing everything you're doing. The practicals: relax. Think and don't stress. Pay attention in lecture=key for the one prelim=good notes! So much fun, I can't wait for 252 with him next semester!

Great prof: funny, helpful, and seems to really care about students. Lab practicals are not as horrible as you might think as long as you're careful and prepare ahead of time, but the written test is pretty hard: don't miss lecture, and memorize everything he says, even if it sounds irrelevant.

Good teacher with great sense of humor. Tends to rush as lectures get more complex, sometimes difficult to catch everything because of his pace. Demos are often entertaining. Overall a good course, but labs are a disaster. Some TAs need to get it together.

Great teacher! He made orgo lab fun and interesting and really seemed to care about his students. His lectures were clear and concise and really helped out on the labs...plus, it's really funny when he breaks stuff in lecture, as he frequently does :) GREAT PROF!

Orgo lab was MUCH better b/c of him. No surprises, what he tells u is what you'll need to know, no extraneous stuff (well, not that much) Lectures are important, good for lab-write ups. Overall, excellent prof, would take course with him again if i could!
