Just a 2015 check-in. Yes, Mr. Sonogram is still a fantastic professor. In previous math classes, I could do okay in algebra. In Mr. Sodergren's class, I UNDERSTAND it. He's great. A+. If you're scared of College Algebra, take his class. You won't regret it.

Best math teacher I have ever had! If i could have, i would have taken every math class with this guy! He gives clear cut examples and the hw mimics the examples. This guy is hilarious! Has many many puns for remembering equations and steps to problems. Better than any math teacher I have taken at Washburn University.

If you were scared of taking college algebra like me then this is the professor you want to take it from. Explains everything clearly & works out every problem that you need to know. He doesn't try to trick you with problems you haven't worked on. He gives out practice exams that are just like the real exam. Does everything he can to help you pass

I took this instructor for both Algebra and Statistics. He has such a good way of explaining things. I loved both of my classes with him. Not only does he show you how to do something, but he explains WHY it works the way it works. It's not just memorizing a bunch of formulas. It actually makes sense!! I would recommend him in a heartbeat. :-D

Ok - I stink at math. I am a literature based learner and anything that has to do with math, I usually do not do my best on. Mr. Sodregen ( :P, Mr. Sonagram) was an amazing teacher. I'm geting a better grade than I have ever gotten in math. The humor, songs, and general atmosphere of the class is amazing. Get in fast, as classes fill up fast!!

Could hear this guy whooping & yelling while walking by his class in a previous semester. A self-admitted math-phobe, I figured if I had to take algebra, I was going to take it from this guy. Spring semester rolls around and he's better than I ever expected. For the first time EVER, I actually wanted to learn algebra. Next up: Calculus!!

I am Ld when it comes to math I have taken Collge algebra 4 times and failed. Prof. Sodergren not only made it fun but worked with me helping me pass the class. I enjoyed attending his class every day not knowing what fun stuff he was going to do. I recommend this class to everyone!

Great instruction. Had to spend a lot of time reversing the instuctions of previous teachers. He is right. A few methods that are practiced that will work on all of the problems is better than a large number of tricks that work on only a few problems. Had him for College algebra and Calculus I.

Steve may be, hands down, the best Math teacher in the college level. I took both Algebra and Calc from him, and he explains things so well, you can't help but learn and understand. Entertaining classes keeps you engaged. And let's not forget his alter ego, Al G. Bra!

Steve makes you work real hard for your grade, but if you put in the effort in his class, do ALL your homework, you will come out on top. One of the only times in life I actually liked math and wanted to understand it. He is a wonderful teacher, and has a great sense of humor. Explains things thoroughly, and does not mind explaining in many ways until you understand. First A I remember getting in math!
