I came into this class very afraid that I would have a horrible experience. I left wanting to know if he'd be teaching any other courses. He's a REAL person! He will spend time with you to help you pass the class and will offer extra credit if you need it. He is very fair when it comes to grading. If you fail this class it's because of you!

Comment:

I very much enjoyed Steve Wtihrow's PSY241 class at GTCC. He has a good personality, he is fair, and has a great way of explaining psychology. He is open minded and takes in everyone's views and opinions objectively. There are a lot of papers to do but if ya want an A you can get it. Enjoyed the class!

This was the easiest pyshcology class I have ever taken. It was a hybrid class so you were only required to go one day out of the week. Not one single exam or quiz was given in this class. All that was required is you had to answer one to two "research" questions you had to answer, in one to two pages, and he would provide you with the link.

Comment:

Be prepared to write papers on a weekly basis. He lectures on them and gives links for further research. Class discussions happen daily and he is always there to offer help if needed. He knows that "like gets in the way" so he accepts late papers. Just listen, write, and show up and you're golden. I would take him again.

I failed 2 exams and did a poor job on the paper and I still passed with a B. All he does is lecture and we watch videos. Very boring but easy. I didn't learn a thing.

I am taking him for abnormal psych and developmental. There is a lot of writing that is due on a weekly basis. Despite that, the class is easy. How 281 is a lot less work and a lot more content that you must comprehend. There are 3 tests and a case study. I would recommend him for those needing these classes.

Awesome teacher, I had a dreat time in this class. I enjoyed the Psy150 class so much that I had my wife and I both sign up for his Psy241 class and I got an A in both. I only wish he offered more classes that I needed. These were both mini mester classes so they were a little bit harder than a normal class would have been but i still loved it.

Good teacher. Writing is required and the ability to use the information and resources provided to conclude your own hypothesis. Records lectures so if you miss class you can listen to the recording write 2 pages of notes and are counted as present for that class. I learned a lot from him. He is opinionated but then he tells you that up front.

To start off, this guy is interesting and knows his stuff. He's friendly and can hold a conversation which is great....for a buddy. As a professor, he is really not good at teaching his material. You're better off reading the book yourself. If you do take his class, MAKE SURE you study the practice quizzes as that's where his tests come from

I had him for 2 Psy classes 150 and 241. He is a good teacher very helpful. He is not hard you just have to do all your WORK! You can't be lazy in this class. make sure you have everything turned in though and check with him to make sure. trust me. Overall he's a good teacher.:)

Not recommending him to anyone. He is very useless. His way of teaching is watching VIDEO`S so he want have to teach. Very easy class. A Case study is due at the end of the semester off one stupid movie. DONT TAKE HIM...WHATEVER YOU DO !!!

He gives way too much work for students taking other classes; about a paper a week. He grades easy so if you do the work you'll get an A. Class is very boring but you have to attend if you don't want to take tests. If you don't mind writing papers take his class because it will be an easy A but if you hate papers don't even think about his class.
