Dr. Andrews, by far the funniest college prof around! Very informative, funny and caring. No complaints as I enjoy history and writing, just don't take this if you don't like either of those. Overall, 5/5.

He'll make you put your heart and soul into getting an A. Attendance is mandatory. We had maybe 4-5 book reports due 5-7 pages each, along with a few journal entries varying in length. The Midterm and Final were 2 essays each, with precise requirements. Reading the text is essential. Take him for a class you're passionate about. Great guy.

Dr. Andrews was probably my most valuable class as a freshman. His assignments take a long time but are pass / fail besides misterm / final which are in class essays. He is very funny and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. can seem intimdating at first but this class taught me a lot and I definitely want to take another class with him. Takes atendance heavy

Pretty amazing, honestly a lot of reading for HIST 121, but it was an easy A. His class isnt hard, just have to read like 4 books and no final! but if you read and do good on the journals you will pass easily with an A. He's really passionate about what he teaches and expects you to attend every class.

Dr. Andrews is a great professor one of my favorites. He is passionate about what he is teaching and wants his students to learn. I learned so many interesting things about the Holocaust from him! Do not skip class or he will fail you. Read the books they are awesome I am not a big reader and even I loved them. Overall solid course and professor.

Dr. Andrews is a really good professor and really cares about what he is teaching. Beware though because there are no tests and you are only graded on seven 5-7 page essays. It's not terrible if you do them ahead but I did 2 the week before it was due and 2 more the night before it was due and still got an A in the class.

Pretty good professor, says at the start of the semester you will not pass without attendance, big essay at the end of the semester instead of a final. No finials at all, but a lot of books and book reports to do. Very passionate about the subject he teaches but you do have to work for it by doing good book reports reading the book.

Professor Andrews is a great history professor. He shows real interest in his topic and makes it very interesting to learn. While he does make the lectures fun and interesting, he expects work from you. You'll have at least 4 book reports, and reading from the textbook is mandatory if you want to pass the midterm and finals. Read, pay attention.

Dr. Andrews is THE MAN. His war stories are actually interesting and he loves what he does and communicating with students. Get ready to write A LOT though. Papers aren't hard, and they're pass/fail. Just do the minimum and pass. Read and do the papers and you should walk out with a B or higher. Highly recommend as he is very willing to help you.

Dr. Andrews is a fantastic and Ispirational lecturer, who cares deeply about the subjects he lectures on. The classes in this course were very clear and interesting, but that does not necessarily mean that his classes are something that can be skipped and will be easy. He takes attendance for his classes that count toward an attendance grade.

Read entire Work by Albert Speer, Inside Third Reich. Didn't think it possible. Surprised as to how much I enjoyed a book that never ended. Take this class if you want to think for yourself. Now know what a Nazi is. More than uniforms and parades.

Had Dr. Andrews for 4 courses. Hist. 100, 001, 121, 142. Did great in all. Classes are not a push over. He's funny, serious and demanding. I learned allot. Worth the $$$. That's why I'm here.

The class in itself is an easy A as long as you pay attention, and start the essays when you get them. If not you'll do pretty terrible. If you do not like writing do not take this class.

He is very hard to learn from lecture wise. I learned more reading the book than from his lectures; he is all over the place. He didn't respect the end of class time and kept us over an average of 5 min per class, causing me to be late to my other class directly after quite often. The workload is ridiculous for a 100 level course.

He doesn't provide you with any material. He has in class slides but goes through them almost too fast to copy, and won't put them online for students. If you are taking this as an elective, I highly advise against. You won't be able to focus on your other classes because of the workload.

You have to read four books to write a four 5 page papers, and watch the in-class documentaries to write five 2 page papers. Papers are pass/fail, just put in some effort and you'll pass. He gives you the questions for the midterm and final, so if you study the resources he gives you and write clearly you'll get at least a 90. He tends to digress.

Dr. Andrews is absolutely amazing. This is the second time I've taken one of his classes and as a biology major his classes have made me consider a history minor. He is extremely knowledgeable and obviously loves to teach. The class itself wasn't very hard but it is a lot of work. You can't be lazy! All of his papers are simple and to the point.
