This was Dr. Cohen's last semester teaching so this won't do much good. Nice guy, very difficult class. I've taken multiple stats courses prior to this and nearly failed it. You could never really tell if the guy was joking around or not. He is very smart though and knows his stuff; if you are struggling, all you have to do is ask for help.

Hardest teacher I've ever had. Very ruthless when it came to grading. I'm no longer a psyc major because of this class.

Dr. Cohen is an amazing teacher and is awesome at explaining things. I've learned SO much from him & will def. take him in the future if I get the opportunity. He tells you exactly what is going to be on the test & he even lets you bring two papers filled with anything and use them for the test. He's a great teacher all around. :)

Dr. Cohen is a great prof. I would recommend his classes to anyone who really wants to learn something not to someone who just wants an easy A.

Last spring I failed Methods but the entire time I knew that I needed to GET SERIOUS, buckle down and learn this stuff. So this semester I took it and I got an A- because I took good notes and reviewed them everyday. I think Cohen is a really good prof and maybe everyone who is knocking him isn't REALLY trying as hard as they could.

I think Dr. Cohen is a great professor. His classes are not easy, but if you put some effort into it you should not have a problem. He does not try to trick you on the tests, and he is clear on what he wants you to know. I have learned so much from methods and apps.

his class is ridiculous. everything must be HIS way or it's wrong.. even if its in the textbook. there is a quiz every friday on a chapter in the book which is not on the test!! he doesnt even give quizzes back so you can see what you did wrong.. oh and when you try to answer his questions he will ALWAYS find something wrong with them. HE SUCKS!!!

had for stats, method, and apps. If you are serious about your learning than he is too. He is always there to help despite what others say. he is extremely knowledgable and everyone can learn something from him. college isnt ment to be easy. Hes one of my favorite profs and it will suck to see him retire

He is definately not an easy proffessor. His class alone takes up every minute of everyday. My grades in my other classess are slacking because of the work load I have from him. I like to work hard but i dont wanna feel like I'm having a heart attack everytime we have a quiz or a test.Theres a 10 question quiz every Fri on each chapter and threetes

Really Hard Professor. The class is 200 level but for all of the studying and reading you have to do, it should just be considered a 300/400 level course. The only good thing I can say about him is that he brought it to my attention that psychology wasn't the right field for me.

God forbid any of you actually do any work. If you take good notes and study them, you will do fine, and if you have trouble, he's always willing to help during office hours. I admit he was one of the hardest professors, but he actually taught me something. He prepares you so well for grad. school. College is about learning, not about getting by.

I had Dr. Cohen for Stats, Methods, and Learning. In Psychology, you must go on to Graduate school to be able to do anything worth while. If you want a professor to prepare you, test you and help you be the kind of student you can be, Dr. Cohen is it! HE's a smart guy and a great prof. It's just that he means buisness.

I had him for stats and failed, but it really wasn't his fault. He is a hard prof. But maybe he's that way for our own good? Anyway I have no choice but to take him agian so wish me luck in methods this fall. Remember to try to stay positive and don't let others bring you down!

Dr. Cohen is often misunderstood. During Methods he was completely unapproachable and rude. However, I think he looked at Methods as a turing point for psych students (either you failed or passed and moved on in the mojor). In Psych of Learning he was a completely different prof. He offered ways to raise your grade and he showed enthusiasm.

excellent teacher. very hard class. if you dont take EXTENSIVE notes then plan on taking class again. i am halfway through the class and people are begining to drop. i wasnt surprised to see the mouthbreather that sat beside me drop, considering he never took notes. cohen tells you what will be on the test its just a matter of studying like crazy
