Avoid if possible. Larsen is a much better professor for this course. Dropped the course with Jones and took it with Larsen and passed easily with a B+. Jones gives a massive project at the end of the semester that doesnt make sense. Lectures just drag on and become so boring. Avoid!

Show up and participate in the discussions. My goal was to learn about the market and I really did even though the actual class was tough. Tests are all about having the right formulas but he is very knowledgeable and teaches you a lot about the market and the economy as a whole. Wish I could take the class when I wasn't taking any others.

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR! TAKE LARSEN! His tests did not reflect course material. I failed his course and got an A with Larsen. He really needs to go back to college and learn how to teach!

He is a horrible teacher. You should not take him if there is any other option. Like changing your major! Mr. Jones is the worst professor I've every had. He doesn't stay on topic and doesn't know how to teach at all.

AVOID this professor. He has good experience, but is a very poor instructor. Class mainly consists of him doing the same problem over and over, which is tedious to say the least. In addition, attendance is mandatory. His tests are multiple choice, but since they only contain 20 questions, there is very little room for error.

He has great experience, but didn't think he could make it clarified for the students. Not much help offerred. Struggled in his class..I can't say his exams hard if your study covering the right topics. Otherwise...good luck!

If you can, take Steve Jones for F420. He has real world experience and uses real world examples during his lectures. He also does a great job of explaining how to do the project due at the end of the semester. I highly recommend him.
