Steve is great! He wants to see you succeed and gives you all the tools you'll need, as long as you taken them. He is a very fair market and will explain things in multiple ways for people. He is full of stories about his past and it makes the class more fun. Would reccomend.

TERRIBLE! I am an A+ student and I am just passing! Steven just handed back our midterm and first assignment and this week is the last week of class! None of us knew how we were doing for the entire semester! Worst class ever and very lecture heavy and boring classes.

Extremely fair professor and very passionate about what he does. His exams are entirely based on his lectures and he doesn't post his PowerPoint slides online, so attendance is mandatory to do well. He's very lecture heavy; the slides themselves don't have much to them, but listen carefully to what he talks about and you'll do great.

Steve is really nice and helpful, but I found his classes somewhat boring and his stories were repetitive. Tests weren't too hard, but multiple choice was. Didn't use the textbook very much, just good for extra studying. If you miss a class, his notes aren't very helpful, only brief outlines of what you missed. I don't like geography though.

Steve teaches the subject well and it's easy to see that he is passionate about Geography. He is very knowledgeable and makes himself available outside of class. He's not one of those profs who just reads off a powerpoint but goes in depth on each topic which allows you to get a little more engaged.

Lots of choice for midterm/final which was awesome, but kind of vague when it comes to a study outline. If you listen to his lectures/read the textbook you'll do fine. I'm not interested in Geography and got an A. He's entertaining and has a lot of stories, and watching parts of movies each class isn't too bad either. :) I'd take his classes again.

Steve is a good teacher. There is a mid-term and final exam, with lots of choice sections (eg. answer 4 out of the following 10 questions). Also there is a weather report which is worth 10% and is not much fun. He loves telling stories.....most of which you will hear multiple times

Great teacher. He is makes his lectures interesting with a lot of stories. He is very clear when things will be due and is flexible if something arises. His office hours are awesome! and he is great if you need to ask any qeustions. Really nice guy :)

Material is presented well, with some repetition for the most significant points. His tests are no surprise, you are given plenty of hints throughout the semester. Steven is very helpful and he strives to make his lectures interesting with MANY anecdotes (sometimes the same ones over and over.) Great instructor.

I am just finishing up my 3rd course with Steve, and he is great! I love all of his classes, and I plan on taking all of his courses! He wants ALL his students to exceed, so he is available for meetings and help whenever you need it. My favourite prof by far, and the most dedicated!

He is a great teacher, i thought the class was easy and the tests were great. He makes sure everyone is really prepared. The weather report is a lot of work and it is hardly worth any marks though. Over all I would take another class with him.

Considering that I hate sciences with a passion and that I actually liked the class I had with Steven, he must be a good instructor! He took us on a fieldtrip and made the class fun. If you work hard, you'll get a good grade. Just don't let your cell phone go off in class. Trust me.

Stevens a great guy. he helps out his students and keeps his lectures pretty interesting. Hes educated in his field, and knows a lot of witty facts. He shows quite a bit of video clips during lectures. It sure makes time fly! :)
