GO TO CLASS, and try your hardest to stay awake! He's a really nice guy, but his voice is lulling. he says "okay" a lot. He actually explains things pretty well, so just stay up and take notes. The book is a bit harder to understand, and his tests are similar to his lectures.

I found him very confusing. The material is usually clear, but he sometimes presents it in a roundabout way that makes it hard to follow. I took him for an intro course, so I don't know if he would have been harder to follow in a higher-level course. He's a good guy, and his tests are fairly straightforward. Offers review session before each test.

The lectures were clear and easy to follow, and he follows the textbook pretty well so if you miss class its not to hard to catch up. The grade is just 3 tests which is nice.

Meyer was an interesting experience. The class really shouldn't be that hard but I still found myself somewhat struggling with the info. He's not a great teacher, tests on what he teaches and not the book, but he knows his stuff. His tests weren't too bad (mostly MC and short answer). His assumes everyone gets what he's teaching right away. Mmmkayy

Disappointing experience in this class. The only resource of any type he provided us with throughout the entire semester was the syllabus. He is not a very accessible professor, and does not provide students with nearly enough practice materials or opportunities to boost grade. Best parts of the class were the scales on the exams.

It's easy, and he's clear. This class doesn't have the thrill value of most, but if you show up you should get an A.

Impossible to understand. Don't bother buying the book, he rarely uses it. Hardly a WM caliber professor.

If you read the book and try to follow along with his lectures, then the class is really manageable. He can be boring, but the class isn't bad. I studied from the book and my notes, as well as from old tests, and I did really well. You just need to do well on one test- he's doesn't strictly average your test scores.

Read the chapters and study the old test and go to review sessions and you'll get an A. That's what I did.

Economics is my worst subject, so it might be different if you're into it, but while Meyer seems like a nice guy he's not a very good teacher. Often neglects to write down or draw what he's explaining and literally puts people to sleep.

While I found Meyer to be a hilarious, cool guy I am having a hard time giving him high ratings. Lectures are hard to stay awake in. The class is really easy and will require very little effort on your part, but you will finish the class with the feeling that you learned very little if anything at all.

I can understand why there are some people say that he's really boring. But on the other side of the picture, he makes everything so clear! This is indeed something about personal values. For me, I value more on clarity. Also, he teaches with a clear plan, which will make you know the whole picture of what's goin on in the macroecon world.

Meyer is a bad professor, but he's the easiest for Microeconomics. Take him over anyone else if you have to take the class. Lectures are a pure repetition of what you read in the book. Not too difficult, but boring as hell.

Incredibly easy class. Stay awake in lecture (although attendance is not mandatory), take notes, go to his multiple review sessions before the test. Read the textbook if you are confused or as supplementary material. But don't pay too much for the book because his lectures come straight out of his, mkay, brain, mkay?

His lectures are pretty dry, but he knows the stuff really well. Class is not mandatory, although it's very helpful to attend lectures since he explains things somewhat differently than the text. Overall, pretty much what you expect for a 100-level large class.

Meyer is the man. Definitely a really good guy. As far as his teaching goes, he understands what he's teaching very well, however his lectures seem almost improvised as he uses no slides or anything like that. Overall a pretty straightforward class and an easy A or B if you put in at least some effort into it.

The key to doing well on the tests is to STUDY THE OLD TESTS. if you can find a couple old versions to study you'll probably get an A. I didn't use the book at all. I know its tempting to skip but don't. If you take good notes in class, you'll be fine. And hes hilarious..."mkay"
