He is a great guy that really wants to help his students. You really have to study for the tests, because he makes them pretty tough, but he grades the projects, which are the biggest part of your grade pretty easily. Good class, his voice may put you to sleep when he lectures, but he doesnt do it often.I would reccomend him IF you'll READ THE BOOK

Nez is just awesome. Tests are hard, but doable. 2 speeches, 1 paper. 5 chances for big ex. credit. If you have to take someone, take this man! He's like a crazy grandpa and is really awesome to talk to. If you let him, he'll make you into a better person.

Awesome teacher. Nicest teacher i've had yet. Three tests that were hard..100 pts each and some questions were worded really confusing. Other then that we had two speeches and he grades extremely easy.He also gives out a lot of bonus.take him if you are trying to decide..he's awesome..

Extremely nice and funny guy!! Loves joking around and making fun of some students. 4 tests which I thought were impossible (so read the book unlike me). Gives you study guides for each test. 1 grp presentation and 2 solo. Xtra credit is available for class

Very funny, great sense of humor. Wants to help students succeed. Tests are a bit hard,but read the material and you will be fine. Essays not too bad, he grades very fairly. Dont screw off in class or abuse the attendence policy and he will be your best bet.

Awesome prof. The best I've had here at York. Knows what he's talking about. Gives you study guides and goes over everything on it in class.. just listen and write it down. Tests are lengthy, but not that bad. Makes the projects pretty easy. Definitely helps you relax and lowers anxiety!!

Great guy, not to hard, all multiple choice tests, no cumulative final. Two speeches and a paper packed into the last few weeks but they're short and probably required for any Human Communication class anyway. Take him, he's a good professor!
