Comment:

Didn't learn a single thing. Helpful if you took calc in high school, especially AP. Hard to follow but very funny and nice guy. Always curves tests majorly, never gives anyone less than a C, easy to get a good grade if you don't mind not learning. can stop tests after calc is done (dont need to calculate or do algebra) which was nice

Class is pretty hard but he is really fair he curves test like a mad men and the final is just another test, i should have gotten like D in the class but he gave me a B which was pretty sweet of him. Really funny guy who tells you to just nod your head in the back of the car. You won't understand the problems the day he teaches but the next day

One of the nicer professors you will meet. Do as the dog in the back of the truck, "that's nice", and you'll do fine. 2 exams and a final are all that count towards your grade, so do HW and go to his (early morning) office hours, as needed.

Schultzy is pretty incredible. Not the clearest teacher in the world by any stretch of the imagination, but he's clear enough in Diff Eqs that you'll get it if you make an effort. Entertaining as hell in class because he says the weirdest stuff ever. "Oh come on, don't make me start drinking before 10 am"

Nice guy, hard tests, big curves. Don't expect to understand anything even though he repeatedly spouts "its almost too easy" and "you just have to extend the principles of calc 2"

He knows his stuff but sometimes has trouble communicating it and assumes that you basically took calc in hs. But he is very funny and nice if you need extra help. Grades exams with a very generous curve (sometimes he bumps the grades up 35%). Hard to get below a C even if you are bad at Math

The class itself was horrible. If you don't take it fresh out of high school calc, you will probably struggle, because he assumes you remember ALL of the basics. Besides that, he is a very very nice guy, who is willing to help outside of class. Good sense of humor, really good curve.

Dr. Schultz is an extremely easy teacher. The tests he gives you are not "normal" math and science tests where you must apply knowledge. His tests cover the basics and he does not even require you to actually answer most questions. You just stop once the calc part of the question is done. The scale will bring your average to around 115%. Awesome

If you feel comfortable with the material& are OK teaching it to yourself, this class is perfect for you. I had taken Calc in HS so already knew most of the material, & rarely feel need to go to class. He doesnt take attendance or check homework & the tests are easy. I still don't recommend if have trouble teaching yourself or lack fundamentals

Dr. Schultz is a nice, funny guy. You may be intimidated in the beginning, mostly because he has students answer his often obscure questions by starting with one student and going down the rest of the row. (no one knows the answers anyways) But he's nice and really wants you to understand. Exams aren't that bad, homework is assigned but not graded.

such a funny teacher - always telling you to just go to the bar instead of studying --- lets you have a formula sheet for tests and SCALES ! he's not bad --- if u fail all the tests you can still get a B

Nice guy, a little odd at times but funny as well. You only study "simple things" in his class, and he lets you have formula sheets for tests. Overall not a bad professor to have.
