Read, come to office hours, write your outline from class notes (not from the book), remember what he emphasizes in class and get your A. Tip: to understand the exam questions, watch a few seasons of Southpark.

Great Prof. He breaks down the subject for understanding - even the most difficult issue. Probably one of the best Prof. ive had in college & law school combined...He is a little windy, but I enjoy the stories.

Out of class he's not trustworthy. Just ask to see the letter of recommendation he said he'd write. It'll blow you away. And what benefit does he get? He's helping to keep good students at ASL by hurting their chances at transfer or at least doing nothing to help them. It's fine to write a crappy letter but not to mislead the student about it

I LOVE con law, but Stewart Harris killed my love for it. He wastes at least 15 minutes of class talking about random subjects relating to con law that he thinks he's an expert about, responds ineffectively to questions in class, and sheds little light on the subject since he rarely strays from what the author says. Arrogant as well.

Comment:
This guy is EXTREMELY pompous: it's all about him. He will deliver cutting lines that are meant as insults but then smile as if he's just joking. He does cover the material but he never fails to use five (hundred) words where one will do. He's a typical ivy league windbag, but if you placate his ego, you'll be okay. Harmless enough. Hard exams!

This guy is the real deal. Best prof at the school, willing to sit down and talk with you after class, ready to give advice to people if they ask. I wish we could clone him. Extremely intelligent and just an all-around good person.

One of the best profs the school has. Some ppl can't take his jokes, and I have a feeling those folks will have a hard time in the real world. Harris is an asset to the school. I walked out of the class with a firm grasp of the material and an interest in finding out more. That's pretty unusual for a law class.

Just terrible. He considers himself smart, but he doesn't give you what you need to know in the class. I had to learn con law on my own.
