Dr. Chen was a fantastic professor. She really cares about her students and gives clear instructions on how to pass her class. Just make sure to not miss any class time and take good notes. Also, do the homework, its not graded but it helped with the exams, A LOT!

Professor Chen is a truly great professor who cares about her students. The people who don't do well In her class are the students who don't do the homework or pay attention in class. Very simple class if you just put a little work and effort into the class.

Dr. Chen is on every of metros true gems. She is a fantastic teacher and an expert with the material. She truely cares about her students and has little tolerance for laziness. Those who fail to do well in her class do so on their own behalf. She gives everything needed to do well. Its no wonder I have heard so many speak so highly of her.

She truly cares about her students' success. Her lectures are thorough. She doesn't grade homework or give you credit for doing it, but DO IT. The test is basically all of the homework questions just altered a little! She's organized with her course and very caring.

Great instructor. She's enthusiastic about teaching and takes her students successes and failures personally. She's also very knowledgeable about the subject. If you're looking for an easy A though, look elsewhere. Managerial finance is tough, and if you don't show up and complete the optional homework, you won't pass.

She has the course completely organized and keeps everything on track. If you do the homework about 2 hrs a week and do the WEB problems you will pass with a B or higher. If you do not do the HW just the WEB and study notes you will struggle for a C If don't do WEB then just drop it. VERY willing to help just have to ask. only graded on 4 exams.

Good professor who explains the material clearly and is willing to break down problems if needed. On the downside she takes no excuses, won't even listen after missing a few classes due to my baby daughter passing away Chen refused to do flex on the first test and I was essentially berated in front of the next class.

Oh my goodness, this class is fast. Dedicate a week to adjusting to her accent, and attend every class. You can take the tests off of lectures alone. Dr. Chen is extremely knowledgable, and is more than willing to clarify on uncertainties. She's dauntingly fast, but it's an excellent class overall!

I love this class so far, our professor Dr. Chen is very knowledgeable and passionate about finance. It's fun watching her teach, and being in class is very important. Daily attendance is a must because she lectures on the important ideas that are essential to your success and ties in with the reading. Also, please do your homework.

Chen is my new favorite teacher. She honestly loves teaching and takes to heart how well her students perform. The other day she was honestly sad that we didn't study over the weekend and you could just tell that she wants us to do well. She is VERY smart and if you show up every day you will do just fine. I learned alot so far from her class.

Professor Chen is a wonderful professor and a great person. She came from Taiwan at a young age and she still has a healthy accent but honestly is she is not hard to understand. First day I thought she would be awful but she proved me quite wrong. Her class consists of only 4 exams; Easy, just master the assigned hw problems and you will do great.

Her teaching style can be summarized as passionate. She will give you every opportunity to succeed, as long as you put forth the work. Her tests come straight from the H/W. Show up to class, take good notes, do the H/W’s and you’ll be fine. Oh, she is great in responding to email, I think the longest I waited for a reply was a day.

Dr. Chen is amazing.I was hesitant about finance, but it was easy for me to learn from her. Her lectures are priceless. She doesn't take attendance but you want to go! Su-Jane Chen is very organized and helpful. Just show up to class, take notes and don't fall behind. Everyone should get at lot out of this class. She has some of the highest test scores in the department because she really makes sure to explain things.
