DO NOT TAKE MS. TAYLOR! Asks for your opinion, then it's wrong so it doesn't matter. Completely rude when she emails you back when you tell her concerns. Doesn't seem like she cares at all. Discussions every week but good luck because your opinion is wrong. Wouldn't take her if I knew this is what I had to deal with. Horrible.

DO NOT TAKE SUSAN TAYLOR. She asks for your opinion in your answers and then tells you they are incorrect and will not give you credit for them. She does not appear to care at all whether or not her students pass or not or even care about her subject. Her participation in the class and when she does participate you usually feel worse than before.

she is an awful professor. She is way too hard for it being a general humanities course. If you do not word your answer exactly the right way she wants to, then she will count is as wrong. NO MATTER how long you put into your answers. her test question are unrealistically hard. I have tried going to during office hours and she wouldn't help.

I wish I would have checked this site before I took her anc humanities as an elective. I'm a Pol student and I have been building up my gpa; however, I fear this "wonderful" lady will be aiding in trying to mess it up. Her "feedback" is very rude! I'm sorry, but not everyone can have the same opinions as her. Horrible decision to take this class.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES! Worst professor ever!!! She is full of herself and nit picks everything you do. As a 37 year old military veteran she gives a new meaning to micromanagement. She is sarcastic in her emails and has so many online classes that she can't keep up. Tests are ridiculous, you have to read every line and memorize the book for tests

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!! She is more interested in micromanaging how often you are online and how long you spend on each assignment than what you actually learn from the class. Her grading is completely arbitrary and if you don't know as much as she does about the subject matter or disagree with her personal views, you are wrong in her eyes.

THIS CLASS WAS AWFUL. She is the worst teacher I have ever taken. I have a 3.8 gpa and didn't make above an 85 on one assignment. I took this course online and it was all discussions (that took 3 hours to do and she graded impossibly) and 4 tests (that had nothing to do with her study guide) STAY AWAY FROM HER

Do not take this professor. She is the absolute worst professor I have taken. I took this class online and it was way too complicated. The study guides are not helpful at all. You might as well have the entire book memorized for her exams. The discussion are difficult because she wan't long elaborate answers and she is very opinionated.

Definitely the worst professor I've ever had. This class is ridiculous. She tricks you with her questions of discussions and tests. Her study guides for tests are so broad with the info you're supposed to learn that they are useless on tests. Whatever you do stay away from this professor or you will end up with a bad grade.

I would understand if I took this class on campus but I took it online and it was not good at all. She expects these big profound discussions to erupt from her confusing prompts but she critiques every little thing you say, whether it's correct from the book or not. It's her own personal opinion you're being judged by.

I was excited about taking this class. I took it online. Taylor is a horrible teacher. The weekly discussions are more often than not worded strangely, it is hard to tell exactly what she wants. She nit picks and if your idea isn't exactly what she had in mind you're sol. Her test are wordy, it makes it hard to figure out what the ? is. DO NOT TAKE

For someone who is interested in Humanities will understand the material and it will be easy. I didn't use the book and just studied off the power points and content online. There's one paper and quizzes that offer bonus points, and short little assignments here and there.

I loved this professor! Her passion for art made the class interesting. However, if you do not know much about art or culture in general, you might not understand what she's talking about (she uses art terminology). No need for the book, just study the powerpoints. She's nice, but tries to be tough on her students. Overall, great teacher!

She's a nice lady but definitely the worst professor I've had at UCO. This class is simply ridiculous. She tries to trick you with questions on quizzes and tests. On reading questions and the research essay at the end of the semester, she will count off on your grade because you didn't have the exact same understanding of the material as her.Beware

Do not recommend this class to anyone! I took it online which I prefer online learning and have never had a problem before! She is very rude and sarcastic if you try to contact her for questions! You can't ever see what you miss on a test either unless you sit down with her! She should not be allowed to teach at all! Very unprofessional!!!

She is a radical professor and tries to convince her students the Bible is incorrect. She even requests a show of hands to identify if you are a Christain. I enjoyed the class because I like the study of humanities; however, a Christain taking this class needs to understand their religion well. You might be offended. It strengthen my faith!

Ms. Taylor is very easy going. She provides downloadable PowerPoint presentations from class, as well as study slides, for Quiz/Test material. She gives extra points for participation and perfect attendance. Her energy is aimed at helping you understand not only the terminology of the art/architecture, but to understand WHY it was created.
