One of the best professors I've ever had, I'm so so lucky to have had him. He's such a friendly guy and his lectures get really meta and inspirational. The tests can be hard, but if you look over your notes and skim the textbook you should be fine.

Tests are kind of confusing, even studying my notes and reading and annotating my textbook I was confused. My friend went to office hours and his response was "do you have any friends in class? Ask them." Not very accessible outside of class unless you're a science enthusiast. He is very enthusiast and amusing to watch lecture though. He's adorable

GREAT class - nice way to knock out 2 semesters of physics. Enjoyable, hilarious professor who really cares about his students. However, lectures were always a bit unclear so I had to really teach myself (Kahn) to really understand. There must be a significant curve at the end, so even though tests can seem a little tricky, you'll do great.

Sung Kyu is so cute. Even if you don't like physics, it's worth taking a class with him just to watch him teach. Concon doesn't take a lot of effort to get a decent grade in (he curves), and he makes the topics so interesting even by just being super enthusiastic about them. 10/10, would take the same class twice just to have him as a prof again

Best teacher and class ever... ignore the reviews saying it's hard. Sung Kyu is the cutest man you'll ever meet, and the class is a breeze provided you actually show up, take notes, and at least flip through the textbook the night before the test. Most importantly, it really is awesome and interesting... especially for non science majors

Prof. Kim is a ridiculously sweet guy. His lectures are fun (he tells jokes and brings in newspaper clippings about the lecture topic) if straight out of the textbook. Tests are easy, and he makes an effort to connect with and engage the class.

If you don't love Sung Kyu, you're wrong. A lot of people complain about the tests being hard, but if you pay attention in class and read the text book (LIKE HE TELLS YOU TO), you'll do fine. He really is the nicest professor ever.

Sung Kyu knows how to teach physics to anyone uninterested in the subject. He makes it interesting and is incredibly nice. Talk to him outside of class; he has a wealth of experience. Listen closely to his lectures, because sometimes things get complex. Knows his stuff, though, so don't miss a class. Con-con = HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

If you are bad at math and science this is a fun class to take. He's so fun and keeps class interesting, you won't WANT to skip! but the tests are really hard, I would study very hard, but not do so well. But I'm still glad I took the class!

Professor Kim truly enjoys doing what he does. He comes into class every day smiling. Most of the material is very interesting, and even in the few points that it is dull, Sung-Kyu makes it interesting with his old school humor and wit. It was always nice to end my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with this course.

ConCon is the best course!!! Sung Kyu is an awesome and engaging professor who loves his subject and loves his students. I had the pleasure of taking this as a FYC where it was even more of a personal class. You'll be excited to go to class every day and watch more of the story of the universe unfold! Greatest professor at Macalester. Everyone should take Con Con before you graduate, even if you just do it pass/fail. He is brilliant, funny and very engaging. Some success tips: Tests can be tricky, make sure to study some. Go talk to him during office hours...he will raise your grade and tell you hilarious stories. I love this man.
