Comment:
Dr Wang's lectures were hard to follow. Although she was presenting good topics, it was hard to understand as she often became flustered and spoke very fast. Her slides included lots of equations that were not on the slides available before class so those who use laptops were a little screwed during lecture. Would avoid in future.

So far the best prof of the four I've had in 112- lectures are easy to follow, lots of examples were provided that make me feel more prepared for her section of the exam. She definitely has an accent, but it's manageable if you pay attention to lectures. Annotated notes were also posted after the week's lectures, which was super helpful.

Dr. Wang's accent is very difficult to understand, and most of the time I had to read the textbook and self-study by myself. Probably one of the worst professors I had at Queen's during my first-year. AVOID at all costs. Dr. Wang is the human equivalent of a fireplace channel.

Was not helpful. I asked her to post her annotated notes or go over more examples in class via email and she refused to. She also did not answer questions very well. I felt totally unprepared for her section of the exam.

Very knowledgable but literally cannot speak english or convey any of the information. She gets lost and flustered during her lectures adding to the confusion. Genuinely have to teach yourself everything on your own

Wang was very hard and difficult to understand!! Half of the time I am left confused by what she was trying to say or get across because of her accent. Because it was so difficult to pick up on what she was trying to say, this made lectures extremely long. Thus, be prepared to just learn by yourself and self-teach yourself through the textbook.

I think most of us freaked out a little because it was her first time teaching CHEM 211. And it's known to be a course where people failed a lot last year. But once you get used to her accent, you can tell that she teaches us useful stuff that is actually going to be on the midterms and exams! Overall fair test and exam. And she's nice in person!

Really easy course since the exams and midterms were very similar to ones used in the past. Must go to class to fill in her lecture slides. She's really cute with her accent and weird adoration with pinwheels. Zac Hudson, the TA, was really helpful in focusing some of the material though as she presents a lot without stressing the main points.

Really hard to understand what she's saying. Completely disorganized notes. Never looks at the class. I swear, I sit there in lecture, and there are just random circles, ovals drawn on the board, some are shaded in, and I have no idea what it means.

You just have to get used to her. If you criticize her for her accent then you're the one with the problem not her. Go for a one on one chat. You'll find that she's very helpful. She even points out what's on the exam.

I can barely understand a thing she says. Bad English, never looks at the class when lecturing, you could hold your hand up forever before she acknowledges you. Notes are poorly organized and is not that helpful during office hours either.
