Gives study guides, study those as well as the notes. Gives extra credit and drops lowest scored test. The problem is that he needs to retire. Simple questions will frustrate him and he will put you "on blast". He also has a difficult time understanding student's questions. Says a certain problem won't be on the test, and what do you know? It is.

I don't know how this professor got a good rating. Myself and my group all ended up just teaching ourselves from the book. He doesn't answer your questions (rather he just answers what he thinks you're asking) and while the study guides are similar to the exams, he changes the questions to something that was hardly covered in lectures.

Do the study guides, and they are almost the same as the exams. He drops the lowest test grade, and he gives you really good notes. Use the notes for the homework and you will do just fine. The practice set is like the test.

The exams are very similar to the study guide he hands with just some of the words and numbers changed. Just work on the study guide and seek help on the problems you are struggling with. This class is an easy A if you just keep up with homework, show up to class and copy his notes, and work on the study guide until you understand every question.

ALL THE ANSWERS ARE IN THE NOTES! He goes over the homework in class so basically he does it for you. Attend class so you won't miss any of the notes and there's no way you can't pass. Very flexible with classes, If you were absent he will let you attend he later classes and mark you present. Good teacher would totally take class over!

He tells you on the first day of class that it is impossible not to pass the class. Lots of notes! practice test exactly like tests. Cheat sheets available. TAKE SI if your class has it. KEEP UP with the homework. Do the extra credit. it is 4 tests he drops the lowest and then the final. HW due last day of semester so do not misplace your hw.

Excellent teach! Only thing is when you ask a question in class he yells at you in front of the whole class and accuses you of note reading the notes. Other then that he's a fair teacher.

Professor Verma's class is fairly easy and straightforward.The class consists of heavy note taking, chapter homework, and 5 unit tests(including final).The lowest test score is drop. Although the lectures tend to drag on, professor Verma's humor and analogies make it bearable. Practice tests. Extra credit. Attendance is a must!

Great professor. He is very helpful! Acccounting concepts can be a difficult subject to grasp if you haven't put any effort into the homework and reading the book. He gives 5 exams, drops the lowest. Before each exam, he assigns a practice set similar to the actual test & on every hwk, he provides answers to them online. I'd recommend him.

I was getting a D for most of the semester but he ended up giving me a final B. Just do the practice exams and homework and you should be fine. Answers to HW is available online. Extra credit opportunities are given and he drops your lowest test score. I recommend him over Canzano for accounting if this isn't a subject you're very good at.

if you get past the language barrier and his style of teacher Dr. Verma is really helpful; and all the tests are based off the practice test. Study those and your golden! no quizzes and tests cover three chapters MAX.

Pretty straight forward. Allows you to use a note card on the exam. The subject matter is the boring part but tells you what to expect. Only knock is that he makes you stay in class the whole time or counts you as absent. Very high school like.

he is a very good teacher. he is really nice and will solve every doubt.no take home homework, everything is done in class. i definately recommend you take this class with him.
