I took this class online during the summer. It was kind of interesting, I learned a few things about society. Just do the work she asks and you should be fine. The only thing I have to complain about is that the instructions for some of the assignments were unclear and had me confused.

Dr Boser is a dream professor! I thought her class was going to be the end of me the first week but when I got into the flow of her class I LOVED IT! She is wonderful and her class isnt as hard as it appears on day one! You have to really get your head in the zone for her class though. If you dont want to learn then dont take her! your loss!!

very informative and sensitive to students needs, she's great. the work isn't too hard if you just keep up with the weekly journals, the interview paper is the biggest pain, but it really teaches alot.

Dr. Boser is the sweetest professor I know. She truly cares for her students unlike many professors here. I highly recommend her for any SOC class. When she handed the syllabus out on the first day of class I thought it would a horribly busy class, but it turned out just fine. In 301 you do 10 papers, but they are only 1 page each and fairly easy.

Susan is committed to helping her students succeed, both professionally and personally. She is a very busy woman but is devoted to her research and students. I highly recommend her as a friend and professor. She changed my outlook on a lot of things and if it weren't for her, I probably would have dropped out!
