Best class I've had yet (4th semester student now). I learned so much that I now hold close to me everyday. Great personality, great way of getting messages through to the class and very organizd and clear about assignments. I miss going to her class every week

I love Sue! I've been struggling with the work load for this class, but Sue is very supportive and encouraging as long as you communicate with her. She's also a great advisor. recommended!

I've worked closely with Sue for two years and taken three classes with her. She is an exceptional teacher. She helps students become better thinkers and challenges romantic notions of environmentalism and indigenous cultures. If you care deeply about these subjects and want to become a great critical thinker, take her classes.

Sue was the best professor i had this semester. She was very helpful with my research paper. I was going through some personal problems, and she was willing to work with me on a different schedule for getting the assignments in. She cares about her students, and is always willing to help when approached. She is passionate, but can be puhsy.

Very good teacher. My first Research course ever, quite hard to get used to but Sue was very helpful. starts you on final paper very early, with pre-essays. discussions could be better.

Sue is a hard teacher who cares deeply about the subject matter. She makes you care. I hated her class but that is no refection on her. If I was a better student I would have loved it.

Sue is a leader in her field, studying Buddhist monks in Burma and Thailand. She is very organized and clear as to her expectations. She works hard, but her focus is clearly elsewhere.
