Dr. George is always on a power trip, she gives you very vague (and weird) assignments and then if you don't do it how she wants then she grades you very poorly. I wish I took UWP with another professor because Susan is impossible to get a good grade from. She is very strange and gives really bad feedback. Take this class with someone else.

She has very complicated directions for her assignments and then gets mad when we do it wrong. She is an extremely tough critic and hard to impress. I recommend taking UWP 101 with a DIFFERENT professor. She is crazy and weird. I have no idea what she is talking about half of the time.

Susan George talks a lot! sometimes she gets off subject but its okay because she always has something funny to say. TAs are awesome, try to get Daniel Fink as TA...very helpful. Overall film studies is an easy class.

Shut the hell up. That's all I could think of whenever this crazy lady startled rambling incoherently about whatever was on her mind, like Harvey Kietel's **** (I am not making this up). But you can skip all lectures, attend discussion and screenings only, and get an A easily.

Overall a pretty good professor. She's very theatrical, so if you get annoyed easily you probably won't like her. Knows her stuff and gives pretty interesting lectures. Film commentaries are annoying but TAs grade them pretty easily. Definitely a class you should take if you enjoy film.

The first day I walked out of class I thought I was going to hate it because she made it seem very difficult but it turns out this class was very interesting even with all the readings. All you have to do is read the assigned articles and you will do fine in the class. VERY EASY CLASS!!!

I thought I would HATE women's studies, BUT Susan made it very interesting and fun. Her incorporation of readings and clips from movies all help to convey her points. There is a lot of reading in this course, but it is worth it- the class is easy and interesting.

I figured I'd hate this class...but I also thought it would be easy. Turns out I really liked the class, and it wasn't that easy. Prof George is kind of a nut, but that makes the class interesting. And if you can get Santiago as a TA, I he is highly recomended, he truly understands the subject.
