let me start out by saying shes a super sweet lady. She grades with expectations beyond an English 100 course. Her grading is unclear and has no actual letter grades when she gives back assignments. She also takes a very long time to get things back to you. Her class is pretty boring most of the time , but the class did not stress me out.

She gets the class to participate and she asks what we feel about the way she does things and what she can change. Shes always looking for improvement on herself when I really dont think she needs improvement.

Professor Herrmann is a wonderful professor, she keeps the class fun, interesting, and interactive. You'll find yourself taking every class she teaches at MiraCosta due to her effective teaching method as well as sweet character.

Professor Herrmann is a great teacher. You write overall 7 papers in the class, 5 small papers, two full essays. Every essay is easy to write, and she gives you a HUGE amount of freedom regarding the papers. Super fun teacher, and I enjoyed her class!

Really great professor. She is very clear when it comes to assignments and grading, and is very helpful when answering questions. I would definitely take another one of her classes if given the opportunity. Do the work and you will get the credit.

Professor Herrmann is very sweet. We only have 4 major essays in the entire semester. You can revise the first 2 essays if you score low on them. In class its mostly discussion on issues around the world. The only downfall of her class is it can be boring most of time. If your not good at english take this class because you will furshure pass.

Herrmann is a really sweet professor and is their for her students. The only negative thing I would say is that class can be very boring and slow. Most of class is discussions on things about the world, and not about English. Easy class, but it can drag. If u want an A then take her class. Only 4 essays.

Easiest class I've taken in college so far. Only 4 essays, ranging from 600-1200 words, and even then you can go under the word count because she doesn't check to see how many words you write. I was always 100-200 under and still got an A on every essay, she seemed to like my writing style. Take it if you want an easy A.

Her sense of time is kind of awful. The entire semester we spent the majority of class meetings discussing things that had no connection to anything. I felt my time was wasted. Main points: you won't know your grade till after final and if you are not a strong writer you will not receive guidance on improving.

What you put in this class is EXACTLY what you will get out of it! She is clear, to the point, and precise, but you have to participate and do what's being asked. Easy A , if you follow directions, and know how to write! Good feedback to let you know where your are falling short. Loved this class!!

She's so kind and considerate to your grade. Essays are P/NP but you get to revise. Only way to not pass is by NOT doing the essays. Which in fact are really not that difficult either. Shes funny and shes easy to talk to.
