Professor Jacob was a one of my favorite professors at CMU. She is genuinely kind and cares about her students. She is firm but fair and wants all of her students to succeed. Grade is "labs" which are just worksheets that are really easy and then 6 tests right out of the book. Study and do the labs and you'll pass with flying colors. Take her!

One of my favorite professors at CMU so far! She knows that students have things going on and is not out to make your life miserable. Attendance is not mandatory, however, the tests are easy if you do go to class and read over the PowerPoint. She makes the topic fun and entertaining. I didn't mind waking up on Fridays for this class :)

Questions on test don't make any sense, they are not written very well and are very objective. She should have retired about 10 years ago. It's best to take with another professor if you want to learn something or take HDF 110 instead. I regret taking this class.

EXCELLENT professor! Extremely passionate about psychology- and the class was a lot of fun. I took Psy 220 because it's required for my major, however, I would recommend taking it with her just for the UP. Gives you extra credit opportunities as well as up to 2 chances to miss tests and 3 chances to miss labs. TAKE THIS CLASS!

A very easy class, but somewhat dull. The lecture/lab format is a bit odd and felt like a waste of time. The prof spends too much time going over things that she doesn't test on, and leaves out other things that are in test material. Still, this course is not difficult, as tests are simple and straightforward. Lectures are okay but not required.

I saved myself from a headache and only went to about 5 lectures. Lab is ALL that matters! Be active and listen in every lab and you'll do great. Tests and lab essays are SOOO easy! This class was my lowest priority and I got an A- (and I am NOT an honor student! so, it's that easy!)

Okay, so there are 7 exams throughout the semester, 35 pts. a piece. It's not bad, but the lab part is horribly ridiculous, it's such a waste of time. And lab is only worth 5 points, so idk if that is a change from last semester or not. Also, the lecture notes are fill in the blank so you kind of have to go. All in all, an okay class.

She is very nice and a cool professor. She always adds examples from her life, which makes the material easy to understand. The only thing I don't like is that her exams cover 4 chapters at once. They are pretty hard. But, go to lab for sure. Easy points for just showing up.

Take it where you have 2 lectures a week with a lab, its the easiest that way. You dont have to go to lecture at all if you dont want its all on blackboard. But she does offer extra credit so make sure you go those days, it will help your exam grades. Put forth an effore and you'll get an A. Easy class, good prof! :)

I had the lecture/lab class as well and if you do the math, you only need a %50 on each test and you pass (if you go to labs) Super easy, I don't even study. I used to go to lectures but she basically reads the notes that are available online. Tests are hard but again, you don't need to do good on them.

If you have where there is 2 lectures and 1 lab per week, that is best. I had this and didnt attend ONE lecure and only went to lab, didnt put forth much effort and will end up with a C+ or B-. She is willing to help if you ask.

i came out with a 98%, so it is easy if you read the material and put forth an effort. tests are kinda difficult, but DEFINITELY use the workbook that comes with the textbook... once i started using this, i scored really high on all tests. take this class with her if you can, it's worth it for sure.

easy A! if you are going take 220 take it with her! her notes are great, and if you go to class for the in class assignments, and study your notes you will do fine! i went not even 75% of the time, still came out with an A!
