Lectures are very boring and long. Tests are hard but the project and paper are very easy. Gives clicker points every class. Truly cares so much about her students and is a very sweet lady, but is a boring class. Study guides didn't always match up with exam content.

Comment:

Professor Krueger is the sweetest professor. She really knows her material and is passionate about educating students on the topic. The class is really easy, show up to lecture (she gives breaks because of its length) and do the study guides and you will be golden.

Professor Krueger really has a passion for what she is teaching. She has 3 exams, a group presentation, and one assignment, so it is important to do well on the exams. Her first exam is really hard, but they get easier as the semester goes on. She gives you a study guide, so as long as you fill that out and study a few days ahead you'll be fine.

Dr. Krueger is really sweet and nice. She really enjoys teaching which makes it easier to pay attention. She is really knowledgeable about what she teaches as well. Her tests aren't that bad, as long as you study and do the study guides you should be fine. Would totally recommend and would take again!!

Comment:

Krueger is incredibly sweet and is very passionate about human nutrition which is great. BUT be aware that the tests are really hard and very detailed!! She does give you study guides though and the tests are basically off them completely. When studying, start at least a week in advance and know the details!

I had Professor Krueger for Biology 196 as a freshmen. I found her first exam to be pretty tough. The second and third tests are a breeze if you fill out the study guides. The final exam was pretty tough. Plan to study 2-3 days in advance to receive at least an 80%. Awesome professor who is always willing to help and is very intelligent.

I would definitely recommend this class. Dr Krueger is very passionate about human nutrition and makes the class interesting. Lectures are pretty short. Tests are difficult but if you study with the review questions she gives you you should do alright.

Comment:

Krueger is such a sweet lady and is very passionate about what she teaches, which is always good. Super easy grader on assignments but her tests are difficult. Personally, I might not take this class if it is just a general for you because it's a little bit on the tougher side. Overall I think I just don't like bio classes. Great prof though!!!!!!

Comment:

Professor Krueger is a very sweet lady who definitely loves her topic. However, she does like to push her personal opinions on you, even if it isn't related much to human nutrition. The tests are extremely detailed, so study more than you think you need to in order to do well. The assignments are easy A's, which is a nice grade booster.

The material is tough for someone who is not good at science. If you have to take this class, I would recommend studying DAILY and reading all the chapters assigned, answering study guide questions ahead of time, making flash card or whatever. Tough class and exams are tough!!

Good professor in general, just do not like teaching style at all. About a third of this class is memorizing random stats about world hunger and the like. Krueger seems enthusiastic about her teaching however, just a preference style issue.

Prof. Krueger is amazing. She is the sweetest prof I've ever had, (not that it's very important but it helps because she is very approachable!) Her tests are a bit difficult but that's because it's biology. If you study your notes you will do well. Presentations and assignments are easy. Definitely take her class if you need the wellness credit!

She's a really great teacher; she definitely knows her stuff. Presentations and papers are an easy A but you have to study pretty hard to earn even a B in the class. But she's good, I'd definitely recommend her.
