Comment:

Prof Matthews is very sweet & she isn't a hard grader. She doesen't expect much from you, only that you try your best, show up to class prepared, and write a paper or two. Her Choreography is very fast, and sometimes it can be confusing & it takes a while to catch on to the moves. Overall she is very helpful and a good Professor.

To be honest, when I first started the class I couldn't stand her...but then I grew to love her. So is amazing and very intense. She only picks on people when she sees that they have potential, so don't take it personal. All you have to do is work hard , show up, not wear socks, and listen to her feedback and you we get a good grade.

Lemme tell you something, I have had susan for all three moderns and choreography, I have also danced for her. For those of you who didn't like her, it's prolly cuz you were good and she saw you needed help. Get over it people!

She is an amazing teaching and professor. I absolutely love her classes and I'm gonna miss her like crazy when I graduate. She teaches simonson technique and my technique has improved 3 fold because of her class. She's amazing!!

Had her for all three Modern dance classes. I absolutely loved her. She helped me with my technique alot. I grew as a dancer because of her. She expects you to be serious about your dancing. Attendence is important and she expects you to be on time.

I never liked her. I felt that she picked on me a lot when I was probably the best dancer in the class. She always started the class late. Our combinations were very repititious and similar to other ones. She always tried to act funny. I wasn't a fan
