I took her for Trig, Calc I, and Calc II. My grades were A, A, & B. Susan Miller was a very knowledgeable advanced math instructor who would occasionally go off on an individual or the class for no apparent reason. Her exams were difficult in that they required a lot of work but if you did your homework you were very prepared for the tests.

Excellent professor. Explains very well. She is an asset to Richland. The class was not difficult at all, and I took it during the summer. She is a nice helpful lady. Her explanations are very clear. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews.

She will take away your confidence in math. She is too old. I do not expect her to be flexible at this age. She focusses on rotating the class rather than teaching the material.She cannot teach math at all. If u wanna get some math skills for calculus, forget it.Also do not ask her if wanna drop the class.she will tell u to stay but never help.

Her lecture is very difficult to understand. She will not be using my math lab next semester.I think is very difficult to understand without the help of my math lab. Most students study from my math lab.I think she stopped using my mathlab inorder to fail students. I made a B because of mymath lab. Do not register for her class.Very rigid lady.

This is the truth about this professor. The exams are very limited number of question. usually like 10-12 questions to be graded out of handred. No multiple choice at all. When she grades, she cuts a lot of points if you make mistake, even minor.The lecture is very confusing. Only few people get it.She does not care about students, I've seen that

This is one of the horrible classes in reachland. If this professor has real human traits she would not be doing this.Precalculus is not required for almost all majors. It is a prereq. It will kill ur gpa.If u are considering this class, I am honestly telling you that you are putting yourself in big problem.Think twice before lossing your future.

She's not that bad as everyone says, yes her rules are a little strict, but just do what you are supposed to do, which is homework, and review and you should do fine. I made a B, but sometimes her letures are hard to understand, I suggest google what you don't understand or study homework. I wouldn't suggest her summer classes, very fast pace.

I took her in may term, didnt learn much from lecture. May be it was 3 weeks class. But I didnt get her lecture really. It was easy for some students who already took trig recently in highschool. She is not hard. But I didnt learn from this class, as I have learned Rasheed's class :)

Math should be easy, if you can remember the steps. At least it was easy until she confused the hell out of me. Because of this, half the students did not bother showing up for class. Her abilities in math are lacking and even more so in her ability to teach. I am a perfect A student yet she gave me a C in the class. I advise to avoid her!

Not a good trig professor at all. Her lectures are difficult to understand and make it hard to take notes. Seems more interested in being nice and friendly and making people interact with each other than teaching advanced math. If you have her, better find a study partner. She's just not good at teaching trig. You'll end up teaching yourself.
