Awesome Professor! She is so excited about the material that she is presenting that she even makes an 8 AM class interesting! The class is only based off of tests, so be prepared to study. If you know the packets, you will be fine. Don't even bother reading the book. She is extremely helpful in discussion section. Definitely take her for 220!

She is darling. Excited about what she teaches and is very nice. She sends emails to the person with the highest grade in the class on exams which is awesome. Seriously, just know everything on the powerpoints and the class is cake. Taking the book chapter quizzes doesn’t hurt either.

Rankin's Comparative Anatomy was BY FAR the hardest course I've ever taken. Her lectures are interesting and engaging, she makes her expectations fairly clear, and provides lecture slides online. About half of what you need is not provided, and if you miss just one word in lecture, you may very well be screwed. Not a great teacher... Good luck

She is super excited about teaching, but 220 is a little below her level - her knowledge in some areas was lacking, but it still loved the class. Tests are not easy, be prepared to study your butt off to pass.

Comment:

Anatomy was the hardest class I ever took - and the one I enjoyed most. Rankin is clever and funny, and explains things so that you understand them. Even at 8AM she keeps you awake with more energy than a nuclear reactor. She's also a great person to go to when you need advice. Highly recommended!
