Prof. Riner is the quintessential little, old, southern lady. Super sweet and caring, though I felt she often had the tendency to wander in lecture and would often merely repeat herself instead of approaching a concept from a different angle if a student didn't understand what was going on. Overall a great teacher and a great person too.

Dr. Riner is such a nice person. She really cares for you and she's an amazing lecturer. Things always made sense after she explained it. She can get pretty picky about her grading but she tells you EXACTLY what she is looking for so it's not hard to do extremely well in her class

Dr. Riner is a very nice professor. The class is very easy. She provides the class powerpoints for you to to study off of and provides practice tests which often reflect how the actual test will be. Lab is also very straightforward. As long as you do what you're supposed to before tests, you will do great.

Dr. Riner is super nice. The class is generally easy as long as you study the powerpoint and do practice questions. Her class is kind of boring because she just goes through the powerpoint, but you can get a good grade without even listening.

Amazing person and teacher!!! Please take her if you have to satisfy your MQR or if you have to take QTM 100. You won't regret it! Easy to ask questions, straight forward tests/quizzes. In the end, she drops 1 or 2 of your lowest quiz grades. Super fair, and always ready to help. Enthusiastic, and she's like a school-mom because she actually cares.

You don't need the textbook. She doesn't take attendance. It's basically intro to statistics. She's very fair, but tests aren't a cakewalk. I've seen people fall behind to the point where they can't save themselves. She's constantly encouraging you to ask her for help and go to her office hours. She even brought cookies for the final exam!

Mrs. Riner is, by far, the best math teacher I've ever had! She explains things throughly and gives a lot of examples, and the class still moves at a rather quick pace! Because of her, I now understand everything I didn't in high school math! She's also super nice and is always willing to help her students.

For a remedial class, she wasn't condescending at all. She truly is a great teacher and a sweet woman. Her goal is for everyone to pass. She does retests if you score below a 70 and drops the 5 lowest quiz grades. Take her class if you are shaky at all in your algebra/trig

Professor Riner is GREAT! She is a great professor, and she loves what she does. She is helpful, clear, and over all such a nice lady. If you are not a math person, she will help you in every way she knows to get you to understand all the concepts. She is one of Oxfords best professors!

Mrs. Riner is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is extremely clear and wants to make sure that you understand the concept. Mrs. Riner is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she is extremely kind to all of her students. She will make you like math.
