Funny old lady. She speaks very softly and is extremely cynical. She will tear your short stories apart. You learn that even with revisions, there is no real method to write a short story everyone will agree is good.

Oh man, Prof. Robbins is awesome. If your papers reflect what is written on her handouts and are gramatically correct, you'll have no problem getting a decent grade. I never gave her my notebook to grade and turned in a paper over a month late. The funniest, best professor I've had yet. She loves what she teaches and expects you to love it too.

Dr. Robbins was awesome. I came into the class with my first paper thinking "I've done pretty well on this one!" I read it aloud in class and was told "well this is just terrible. You must be able to do better than that, right?" I tried to defend my paper and she asked me to leave the class. I took her for three classes after that. She's great

An interesting professor, but getting the grade you want is so hard that I would call it unfair. Her grading scale was out of 6 for papers and I think the highest grade anyone got in our class was a 5-, or a B-. Most kids seemed to get 3's, which equate to the D range. The one benefit is that any profs I have now are bound to seem easy by compariso

Professor Robbins is one hilarious lady. Some of the stuff that comes oout of her mouth was definitely off the wall. Overall, I learned a great deal because she constantly told me to change this and that, but I am a better writer because of it.
