Professor Sydor is one of the most hideous human beings I've had the grave misfortune of meeting. Borderline sociopath would be my uneducated diagnosis, yet she might be nice to puppies and kittens. Steer clear whenever possible, as she wields tremendous power in the Faculty of Education. Switch counselling groups if you land in her class.

Extremely bad teacher. Not clear in her instruction and inconsistant in her marking. Yells at a class of adults and doesn't seem to know of any other way to make people listen to her. Plays favorites. Shame on you.

Extremely nice woman and excellent teacher in that she pushes/challenges you to think. She doesn't spoon feed you, but treats you as an adult with a brain. Always very approachable.

An amazing prof - expects a lot, and will challenge opinions (not because she disagrees, but because she wants you to think and give intelligent answers). Might offend people who think the world revolves around them or who don't want to actually put in any effort. Our class loved her.

This is a tough course! I think she goes really deep into the meanings of things. She just takes everyones thoughts and trys to take it deeper. I think it should be an interesting year, but lots of fun!

One of the nicest teachers that I have ever had. In both of her classes, I found her to be very approachable, and kind. She helped me out during a hard time, and for that I will always be greatful. Give her a chance, and you'd love her too.

Sydor was patronizing and unapproachable after class. She also was disorganized, late and boring in her style. Most importantly she didnt really cover anything remotely useful in her lectures. A total waste of time

Please, enough with the metaphors. I was completely confused in lectures about what we were talking about and what i was supposed to get out of it. Our class average on an open book test was below 50%! BUT!!!!! She is an awesome person, very approachable!
