Sr. Yochum expects you to know a lot about chemistry before taking her class and if you have little to no chemistry experience you will struggle. She gives written finals and tough quizzes. But, it is easy to get an A if you do your homework.

Had her for Quantitative Analysis lab my second semester, she grades lab reports very easy. She will look over lab reports if you get them done early, and ask her to. She will answer any of your questions and even stayed after to explain a concept to me once. Her explanations helped me understand and do better in General Chem. 2!

Sr. Susan is overly tough. She says that she mainly wants students to understand the theory behind experiments, but then takes off many points on reports for dumb mistakes. She never replies to emails and belittles students in class. She told us the reason most of us want to go into medicine instead of lab work is because we don't like to think.

I've had Sr. Susan for my two Gen Chem labs and Gen Chem II class so far. I have to say, I love Sr. Susan. She appears to be strict, but is actually VERY nice and all around helpful. She is by far my favorite professor and I hold a very high respect for her.

Sister Susan is the bomb! She appears strict and has a no nonsense attitude, but shows you every detail and step involved in an experiment and answers any and all questions. she's really straithforward with what she wants from you so there is little to no confusion
