Dr. Cavallo, is by far my favorite professor I've had at LUC. She is very passionate about what she does and will move heaven and Earth to help her students be successful. It can be difficult to meet with her outside of class , but she makes it work. She wants to hear your opinions so do not be afraid to participate-- it will only help you.

My favorite professor of all time and I took many classes with her. Brilliant, passionate, informed, kind. Her knowledge of poetry and her ability to tie it into music was wonderful. She continues to be an inspiration to me and so many others. Take any class you can with her, she is a gem!

Everyone loves Susanna, but I didn't really like her. I thought she was funny enough but she definitely prefers some students over others. She lets you turn in a draft of your papers and comments on them. However, her comments can be kind of snide. She told me that I didn't try and that she didn't know why because I SEEMED intelligent.

Excellent professor. She has a wonderful laugh, and is free-spirited, funny, extremely intelligent and helpful. All the books she chooses are great reads. Encourages you to form and express your own opinions and gives plenty of time for take-home exams. Also a big movie lover. Highly recommended.
