Comment:

Dr. Samples is one of the best teachers here at The Mount. She's very straightforward when it comes to teaching German and she's also extremely knowledgable on the subject. Yes, her tests and assignments can be difficult, but why are you at college if you're not willing to learn? She's a wonderful teacher that I recommend to everyone.

I took one of her classes via webcam from another school, and absolutely hated it. She doesn't speak very good German, makes a lot of grading mistakes, is very unorganized, blames her errors on students, and doesn't really make me want to come to class...and on top of that, she's strangely rude and unprofessional. Stay away.

I thought she was a wonderful teacher. People said that she picked favorites, but I didn't see it. She was always very kind and helpful with every student in the class, and she always made sure to help if you were having problems. The tests and quizzes were hard, but she definitely curved a decent amount. I had no previous German classes.

I had her for german 101. She is a decent teacher at best. ONE THING you have to keep in mind if you are going to take is that for the vocab quizzes consiste of 60 words at the very least. For one vocab quiz we had almost a 100 (vocab quizzes are once every 2 weeks) If you have no background in german..DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE
