Freeman is the worst teacher I have had in college. The most unorganized person I have ever met. Assigned us 10 quizzes and a project the week before semester ended. Seriously avoid her at all costs. We never got a syllabus for the class, she never posts grades, and teaches NOTHING. she just makes you watch pointless videos. WORST TEACHER EVER.

Worst teacher Ive ever encountered, literally does not care about teaching students anything. She sits at her desk on her phone and puts videos on for the majority of the class. She doesnt grade assignments and you never know what your grade is. Extremely stressful

never got back to anyone in class for almost 3 months, didn't even get a syllabus till months in and even then it wasn't accurate. Would never take this class again or one taught by her, sadly she was the only one doing online for 104 tech. She didn't grade anything all semester so you have no idea how you are doing in class at any point.

I guess there must be a difference between her online class and the regular class. I took the online one and it was a mess. Actual homework was often buried in a really unorganized thread style sheet. Emailed a few times to the instructor and never got an answer back. She didn't grade anything until after the semester was already over.

Suzanne Freeman is hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. She will bend over backwards for her students, you just have to ask. She is super knowledgable about the subject. Majority of her time is spent making improvements in the fire technology program. I learned a lot from her and the lecture she gives out.

I wouldn't take her again. Throughout the semester she assigns lots of busy work and quizzes. Her lectures aren't the best either. She covers topics fast and often goes off topic. I think her lectures would be better if she went into explanation. And yes I tried going to her office hours, however she wasn't there. I tried email too an got no reply

HORRIBLE!!! Taken online for FT104. Absolutely BEWARE! By no means is it a self-paced course. Everyday additional work is added to blackboard. It never ends. More like a 9 unit course. She will drop you if you try and pace yourself. Not worth the hassle. Extremely disorganized. No syllabus. Just a boat load of busy work. Heed the warning & RUN!!!!

This lady is sooooo unorganized. I was confused on what to do all semester. FT 104 & 106 is what i learned the least in during my FT experience. She is all over the place. The semester is over now and she still has not graded stuff from before the midterm and grades are already a day late. I don't trust her grading. Be careful with this one

Freeman has her own style, but I liked it. She does go OVER and OVER the same thing many times, but I gathered that was because it is important. I used a lot of her content to get through the fire academy, and also through many of my interviews. She is deff all over the place, but there is a method to her madness.Communication is the key with her.

Where to start, if possible do not take her class. She does not assign lectures only ready assignments.She gives outrageous amounts of homework that generally are related to course info but require you to spend hours and hours searching through online research. Basically this class is more work than my 6-unit language class

Freeman is a character. The classwork is basically busy work. Every day started with a quiz which was used for attendance. DON'T go by the syllabus, we had about 6 assignments for the entire semester. Easy A if you show up. Not my favorite but she goes over everything soooo much, that its hard to believe you wouldn't get it by the end.

I had this professor for fall 2011.Wow did not understand anything she said.I have taken classes 101,102,105,106 with othe professors and I learn a lot from them but with freeman I have not learned anything.Trust me when I say this, she goes off topic at least 80% f the time. The homework i never understood what they had to do with the class.BAD
