she sucks!!! do not take her if you can avoid it. so much irrelevant work. end up writing over 60 pages in the class on useless assignments. tons and tons of reading that is also useless. she does not explain her assignments at all and expects students to read her mind. she canged the quizzes this year and were hard cuz she says not to take notes

Don't let the name fool you! Charlton is a great teacher; however, she gives you TONS of work that are NOT relevant. ALOT of hw, quizzes, projects, & reading - essay due every week & 100+ pgs reading PER week. I got an "A" because I put in ALOT of effort in my work. You DON'T learn anything in class. Class runs like a HIGH SCHOOL! NOT Recommended!!

Class was fun. We did activities and group work, making the material more interesting than if she had spent the entire 3 hours lecturing. No tests, just small quizzes. Majority of grade is based on paper, and it's a fun/easy paper to write based on an interview that you pick the topic for and do yourself. Highly recommend this class and professor!!

The class is really easy, it is full of busy work.The material is common sense and there is no need do any of the reading, you can basically just make it up.working with the kids was what i learned most from but it was also more time consuming than i expected.she is also kinda mean/condescending.

She was an amazing teacher. A lot of people think she's disorganized, but she's an easy A, nonetheless. Class is 3 hours and she makes every class go by really fast. She does talk like we're kindergartners but that's what makes it fun!
