Comment:

Avoid her at all costs. Very unclear teacher when it comes to what she wants. She will ask you 'Do you understand?' or 'Do you see?' more times than you will ever be asked again in your life. A lot of reading and not much time spent on each book.

Earned As in both classes I took w her and graduated with a Bachelor's in English and Psychology in the late 90s. About 15 months after I graduated, I went about applying to the MA English program at Post and contacted her for a letter of recommendation. She refused to provide one due to the fact that I "hadn't kept in touch with her."

Her interpretations of the stories are easy to understand. However, her class is so boring and she is easy to tune out. She calls on the same people and says "do you understand" WAY too much. She's hard grader. Take another prof if you can.

She is actually extremely easy. Yes, she is a quack and is very rude BUT she doesn't give any essays besides the midterm and final. Not to mention she lets you use the novels for the midterm!!!! Unheard of. P.s if you don't read she explains the entire reading, joke.

I think she was an excellent teacher. She is a very odd woman and teacher, but extremely intelligent. She likes the reader to interpret the book in her way, and that is it. However, the reading is not that hard and her midterm and final are very manageable if you take notes in class.

Good teacher- you just have to do the reading and be there all the time to take notes- which are basically what the test is based on.Shes a little weird but is good at what she does- try to volunteer as much as possible- she likes that.
