Great Professor .. Dr. Parkers Seminar on Southern Politics was by far the best course I've taken at Purdue and I would highly recommend it. Do the reading, prepare, participate / show up and you'll get an A, a lot out of the course, and a letter of recommendation if you're engaged.

Parker is a fireball. She is so engaged and interested in public opinion polling. She has a great way of connecting with students and her enthusiasm is infectious. I had a great time in her class.

This class could have been WAY worse than it was. She made it not only manageable, but actually kind of fun. Stats wasn't my thing, but she did an awesome job explaining everything. Super enthusiastic. If you have to take a stats course, definitely take it from her.

Dr. Parker is not only the best professor I've ever had, she's easily one of the best teachers I've ever had. Remarkable combination of incredible knowledge and incredible teaching skill. I'm now in the process of getting a phd in poli sci, and she's the reason why.

So enthusiastic and helpful. Work load is on the higher end, but manageable. LOTS of reading. If you aren't a poli sci major, beware. She used to teach political analysis and clearly loved it as it seeps into her other courses. I would have been confused on many lectures without having taken POL300. Definitely worth taking a course with!

Good prof. I've taken a few classes with her and she's really good. She knows what she's talking about with surveys. If you're interested in public opinion polling take this class. It was more based on polling then elections. A few in class quizes, attendance, a 10 page paper on a campaign and 2 exams. Really helpful. Great Prof.

The best professor I have ever had! She has been a mentor to me for years & has taken a personal interest in my professional dev. Years after having taken classes with her @ FSU she still keeps in contact & provides me with enthusiastic support!
